I stumbled across your ordoecho posts and im really fascinated by it so now I have to ask, how did these two meet?

OrdoEcho is dear crossover/crackship of mine with @ithillia :3

We have a wide-variety of AUs where we attempted to crossover RepComm and TCW (Honestly I want to scoop out my brain due to the amount of pain it causes XDD). So yeah, we have tons of AU.

I decided to make further illustrations for the AU I already uploaded here and talk about that one. :3 Many-many thanks to @aerjnn for helping me and giving me digital art tips for this one!!! <3 I learned a lot!!!

So. Ordo and Echo here meet as cadets.

I don't think Ordo really cares about the clones as collective. He, first and foremost, a Mandalorian at heart and just because he shares genes and face with millions of people, he doesn't consider them family.

BUT. Ordo also has a very strong sense of justice. He has his own set of moral code. Even he can't avert his eyes when someone is being bullied. When he found Echo being bullied by the members of the Bravo Squad in the fresher, he politely asked them to stop.

In his own view, the bullies indeed proved Ordo right: clones are not family. A family members wouldn't hurt each other like this. Them hurting Echo is not educational, it's not part of the training, it's not part of learning how to survive outside. It's just cruelty and abuse.

Now Ordo only asks once. To teach them a lesson about unnecessary violence, he beat the shit out of the bully cadets. :D

Echo was shaking on the floor, afraid he would be the next. But Ordo just stepped over the unconscious bodies, washed the blood from his hands at the sink, and only then he turned to Echo to help him up from the floor.

"You look shit. Might as well practice my first-aid skills on you."

Echo didn't have the courage to say no and followed this strange cadet. But when he actually got taken care of, he realized this weirdo cadet is not a bully who want to hurt him. Just... a weirdo.

Ordo made a remark about how Echo didn't seem to protect himself from the bullies.

"It's easier this way. They'll get bored faster if I just let them."

So this led to the the scene where Ordo attempted to offer Uj-Cake to Echo - just like Kal'buir would do -, and failed miserably, because Echo hates everything that is not rationbar. He just wanted to be nice with this new friend... pet... vod-thingy XDDD

Echo is insufferable as a cadet (hence his given name), but I like to imagine that they would be great friends with Ordo and would be able to understand each other. Echo knows all the regulations by heart and Ordo would teach him how to utilize this knowledge more practically and find the loopholes in it when necessary.

So uhm yeah, this is how they met in this AU. ^^

My favorite AU actually is where every ARC Trooper is centralized in Coruscant and deployed from there instead of belonging to certain battalions, so Echo and Fives will be part of the Special Operations Brigade instead of the 501s after their training. In that one, Ordo and Echo didn't meet beforehand. But maybe that's for another post. :3

The big projects I'm working on are too time and energy consuming, and I have no idea when I will be able to finish them and I don't feel like sharing wips about them but it would be nice to stay active on this blog and musing with my favorite little murder meowmeow :<

I think it would do good for Ordo and Maze to actually try to kill each other and then make up with a kiss.

I realized I have this urge to make Maze like a normal human being to complement Ordo's darkness, while in the deepest layers of my mind Maze is also the same obsessive and violent guy and there is no way their relationship could work in a healthy way.

It feels like, one of them must be a normal to make it wholesome.

and by normal I probably mean... healthy.

Maze is not healthy. He is broken. He is traumatized. He is lonely. He is calculating. And he knows well how to use Ordo's obsession for him very well.

I wish I could somehow depict this in either fic or my art.

Sometimes my brain block these two together, because it's too intense and I get overwhelmed.

I wish I could set these overwhelming feelings into something wonderfully grotesque. I wish i had the words. I wish I had colors red enough.
