I didn't want to be runner up
Can't stand being an afterthought
I didn't want to feel like 2nd choice anymore, to anyone
So I started choosing myself

Beautiful Snow Day❄
Spent time with my son.
Spent time with my daughter.
Spent time with MYself.
Had some hot coco and donuts after attempting to sled down a hill on a garbage lid. It was a good moment.
Reminded me of being a kid.
Felt good to take it all in without any pressure behind me.
We need more days like this.
More days like this are coming.

Repeat after me:
I am the woman of my own dreams. I require no validation. My wish is my command. My life is my own, I build it. My voice is my own, I let it be heard. I am relentless in my dedication to trusting myself. I am insatiable in my thirst for the extraordinary, and I do not settle for the mediocre.

My favorite shampoo in the world. This stuff always brings my curls back to life, especially after I straighten my hair.. which I don't do often.

It was just "meh" for me. Kinda made my hair feel heavy and I think it is for thicker hair than my 3a/3b hair.
I loved the smell and the cream texture and how it went on but it never fully absorbed so it just felt like it was sitting on top of my hair. I even tried sitting under the dryer to see if it would absorb better.
Anyway... another reminder for me, personally, not to buy this again

So this stuff not only made me break out, I don't even think it worked. And it had that weird palmer's medicated smell to it. I used the whole thing to see if it would lighten my thighs and backside from old scars and nada
I'm only sharing this bc I wanted to remind myself not to ever waste my time on this stuff again.
Peace.

What I learned from reading Neville's Scott, "The Feeling is the Secret".
Your subconscious will reflect how you feel. It is like your "lover". You don't have to sway it. Just love it and it will love you back.
Your highest level of achievement will be having the ability to control your emotions. We lock emotions in our body and they eventually become illness, if they are not healed.
Treat your sleep like it's a sacred space, like it's magic... because it is. Go to sleep with the feeling you want. Sleep is the closest you will get to experiencing your real subconscious mind. Your underground. Your feminine energy. It is the closest thing to "Heaven".
Prayer is another form of meditation. You're asking for something as if you are being listened to. But prayer is meditating with yourself, or your subconscious, and you can create a feeling by experiencing "the thing".
Believe & act as your wish is true, and it will be. Having faith = having feelings. Having too many wishes at one time = having too many feelings, confusion on what you want to feel at one time.
We are in the Mind of God. Remembering this is remembering you are LIMITLESS, as one of God's creation should be.
Reality is persistent, but nonetheless, a persistent illusion.

Wishing a 👞HAPPY FATHERS DAY👔 to the special men out there, who actually take care of their business, instead of messing around.
In my own parenthood, I've learned that fatherhood is just as important as motherhood, but goes unnoticed in so many households (for obvious reasons, like being a single mother or being the woman who has to take care of everything), that we forget the value of having a male figure contribute to our children's lives, and especially while raising our young lads into grown a$s men.
No doubt, any fool can make a child - that doesn't make you father - BUT it takes real men to have the courage to raise these young'ns up.
This is not news, but a reminder to say THANK YOU ALL THAT YOU DO, near and far away. We love you and appreciate you.

Must have an open ask box for me to contact you if you win.
Must be following this blog.
Please do not tag as “giveaway” or it may be automatically purged.
If you reblog to a side blog please include the blog you follow from in the tags
Please, if you would, tag it as “entry” (or something else) just in case the notes are partially hidden, it’s a secondary way to see all the names.

This giveaway is run independently and not affiliated with Tumblr in any way.
That’s it! Good luck all and thank you so much for your support!
