truth be told, violet isn’t entirely sure if the festival life is meant for her. she has never been a big fan of crowds, so to be stuck on the grounds surrounded by thousands of people has her feeling uneasy. she’s been to coachella before, but this time seems different. more people know who she is all thanks to her work with the lingerie giant which means more people stop to take pictures with her & compliment her sheer ensemble or tell her that she is taller in person ; as if she is oblivious to that fact about herself. the brunette has always seen coachella as an exclusive event for rich people & celebrities but that isn’t always the case. she knows that instead of grimacing at everyone who comes too close to her ; she should swallow her pride & have a good time. ‘ i’m kind of offended that fyre festival never asked me to do their promo for them. i feel like i could have done such a good job. ’ violet says, forcing a laugh as she purposely bumps into the male walking beside her. ‘ i think i need a drink or like four. i’ve been basically sober since i’ve been here which is totally not a move. ’ @malvchis !!

                  minus  the  numerous  amounts  of  festival-goers  endlessly  vomiting  in  any  and  if  not  ,  the  majority  of  the  tiny  crevices  of  space  the  festival  held  ,  fans  plundering  past  one  another  to  shove  their  phone  in  his  &  his  friends’  faces  ,  music  festivals  were  an  atmosphere  malachi  could  never  find  himself  growing  weary  of  in  the  near  future  .  it’s  one  of  the  multitude  of  things  that’s  stemmed  his  love  for  instruments  ,  not  to  mention  ,  he  was  lucky  enough  to  be  performing  at  such  a  highly-ranked  vicinity  .  but  for  now  ,  malachi’s  reveling  in  what  he  considers  the  calm  before  the  storm  as  he  treads  across  the  withered  greenery  with  one  of  his  unlikely  ,  but  closest  friends  ,  thick  brows  furrowing  together  as  his  shoulder  impishly  collides  back  with  the  other’s  ,  a  laugh  escaping  him  shortly  after  .  ‘   yeah  ,  ‘cause  that  worked  out  so  well  .  didn’t  you  hear  about  the  guy  who  almost  sucked  dick  for  water  ?   i  gotta  admit  though  ,  it  would’ve  been  so  fuckin’  funny  if  you  were  the  face  of  the  fyre  festival  .  i’d  never  let  you  live  it  down  ,   ’  laughter  parts  his  lips  at  the  thought  ,  though  he’s  nearing  closer  to  one  of  the  many  sponsored  parties  coachella  offered  ,  optics  glancing  towards  violet  .   ‘   think  we’d  get  shit  if  we snuck  into  that  party  ?  come  on  ,  free food  plus  the  one  drink  you  want  ...  or  four  .  tell  me  it’s  not  a  genius  idea  .  ’

       if there’s one person besides her siblings that she trusts just as much , it’s mal . it’s crazy how long they’ve been friends , and he’s the only person from high school that she still talks to . no matter how hard she tried to push everyone away after that , he was the only person who really stuck by her side . but the way that she’s able to sit here in the most comfortable silence with the boy she’s known since she was a kid , was something she knows the universe just blessed her with . these are the thoughts going through her mind as they’re sprawled out across her bed with something random playing on the tv . alanna’s picking at her nails as she looks over at him for the first time in a couple minutes . ‘ okay , so can you please come with me to this party tonight ? it’s for work but i’m like , so bored of that . and i don’t wanna go alone , ’ she asks , a small chuckle leaving her lips . 

      it’s  considered  a  normalcy  now  ,  the  way  malachi’s  built  anatomy  is  currently  neighboring  alanna  upon  her  bedding  while  the  chatter  emitting  from  the  television  serves  as  some  sort  of  white  noise  .  whether  it  was  the  pair  being  blinded  by  the  brilliant  camera  flashes  in  lieu  of  paparazzi  every  single  time  they  stepped  foot  out  of  the  confinements  of  her  apartment  building  ,  or  sharing  moments  of  solitude  quite  similar  to  this  ,  the  concept  of  time  looming  above  malachi  seemed  to  fade  away  into  oblivion  every  time  he  was  in  the  girl’s  vicinity  .  lethargically ,  his  chin  cranes  towards  her  ,  her inquiry  disrupting  his  train  of  thought  as  hazel-flecked  optics  were  persistent  on  whatever  cheesy  ,  90s  romcom  was  airing  .  ‘   depends  on  what  kind  of  party  it  is  ,   ’  mal  answers  warily  ,  his  introverted  nature  infamous  for  surviving  without  any  form  of  human  contact  for  weeks  on  end  .   ‘   can  we  make  fun  of  whatever  famous  asshole  shows  up  ,  or  are  you  just  using  me  for  arm  candy  ?   ’ he  muses  ,  a  widespread  grin  casting  upon  his  countenance  .

              ❛ ᴅᴜᴅᴇ ɢᴇᴛ ᴏᴜᴛ ᴏғ ᴛʜᴇ ᴡᴀʏ !! ❜ calliope yells once her eyes land on the one figure that doesnt seem to react immediately the way you should when you notice a girl clearly out of control skating right towards you . when she put on the rollerblades earlier that day it seemed she failed to take into account she hadn’t use a pair in almost 15 years… or the fact that she wasn’t even good to begin with back then . soon enough that’s a worry for another day, as she collides with the unsuspecting male and takes him to the floor with her, momentarily unaware of just how much he stopped her from planting her face on the concrete . ❛ jesus !! are you dead ?? ❜ callie’s blunt question comes out as soon as she takes in her surroundings, moving away from the male and assuring the small group of people gathering around them that they’re fine . at least calliope was, she wasn’t sure she could say the same for a guy who didn’t have ‘getting out of the way’ as a primal reaction in face of a life-threatening situation… or something along those lines.

             the entirety of malachi’s physique radiates with a minor ache, one that carried the potential to be a lot worse from the initial blow of the collapse. his masculinity’s kicking in though, and he thinks this is a breeze compared to the multitude of fights sparked from inebriation with his fellow pals that’s become more frequent in his life than not. a guttural groan spilling from the base of his throat as a means to formulate some sort of response to her inquiry,  ‘ ask me when i’m not on the ground, maybe.  ’ despite the fact that his chest’s tightening with every inhalation and he’s positive this experience in particular can counter as a near-death experience, he’s hoisting himself up anyway, honeyed hues ultimately taking in the culprit of the unnamed girl with the roller skaters, studying over her as she assures the witnesses that everything was alright, and no, the elderly lady didn’t need to call the paramedics. once the chatter dies down, he’s nearing towards the girl, a firm believer in the fact that this peculiar run in couldn’t have been coincidence ; especially not when malachi was a hopeless romantic, to say the least. ‘ well, that’s one way to fall into someone’s arms, right ? ’ he begins to captivate her attention, praying to the highest power that if all went south, he could at least blame it on the potential concussion.

            it’s a rarity in itself that malachi’s managed to exit the confinements of his penthouse and it wasn’t to retrieve his pizza order at joe’s, but working out gives him a sense of clarity, and it’s when he’s peeling off the item of clothing that sheathes his upper body that an all-too-familiar british tone causes him to divert his attention. ‘ oh, shit, hey ... mate, ’ the male teases, plucking his bottle of filtered waterand swiping away the remnants of sticky sweat in one motion as he glances at the actor. ‘ just trying to get in shape before coachella, i’ve been slacking pretty hard lately. how about you ? haven’t heard from you in a minute, i’m guessing that’s a good thing. ’
