Ohhhh! I think I saw some people talk about this headcanon on the ISAT Discord Server! I like it! It's a fun little headcanon, and it also makes a lot of sense! Using "we," makes it sound like Siffrin is also involved in this. It sure is a way to play with Siffrin's mind!

Yeah! Ghosts! Ghosts are fun! ( <- has made a whole comic about comics) ALSO CONGRATS!!

I love characters that are the representation of emotions. The whole concept of Sadnesses is awesome to me. They're beings created fully from someone's negative emotions, it's really interesting, I know that Adrienne only created them to serve as an enemy for the game, but the whole idea is still so cool to me. These beings that are not inherently conscious, yet at the same time, are conscious enough to know how to twist and mend someone's wordview to bring them down, conscious enough to talk, repeat, and elaborate. Sadnesses are fun! I like them a lot!

I find the host/parasite dynamic trope fun too! I'm also a big fan of characters that are a "ghost" of someone else, and Mal Du Pays fits both, so it was quite easy to get attached to this character /silly

Saw a couple reblogs on my Mal du Pays post and um… so, about that-

I feel like post-game Siffrin would NOT cope as well as they initially thought with the loss of their hat <3

(I imagine Mal du Pays to just be a reflection of Siffrin, so they’ll mirror any change Siffrin goes through… but they’re still Sif’s deepest insecurities, always ready to remind him why he sucks :D )
