anyway i’ve been thinking about taylor’s power, the sheer scope of the eras tour, how big of a role she plays in popular culture and the economy of countries, and i just think it’s incredible that, at the heart of it all, is a woman who pours her life and blood into her art and just keeps performing. she IS the product. her personhood, her body, her emotions are what we all consume as fans. it’s such a heavy weight to put on the shoulders of one person who is ultimately a human being who happens to have the right combination of creativity, drive, perseverance, and beauty. idk it’s just a lot. she’s in the most unique position that would’ve broken anyone else. stream clara bow.
