Is our girl in Echoes of Wisdom the same as our Princess of Legend? It certainly seems that way, as there are many signs pointing towards it.
However
just like with Tears of the Kingdom, we'll have to wait and see what the game reveals. Either way, I’m incredibly hyped for this game!
As for this design, I can’t say it's final for certain. But this blue maiden dress of hers is one that’s stuck with me for years.

Spent this week on making a bunch of faux oldschool anime screencaps. Had a blast making these, I’m especially happy with the background in the third one. I’ll probably keep making these, so look forward to more of these in the future!

Spoilers for the demo of FF7 Rebirth:
During the scene in the library, where Sephiroth goes through the discovery of Jenova, they SHOW her body being recovered.
I noticed some things. One, Jenova is NOT found the way we're used to seeing her. She's a monstrous/humanoid corpse. In fact, they may have found something way closer to Dreamweaver than the body in the reactor.
2: If you look hard enough at the screenshot above, you can see the eye in her skull. You can also see that the teeth are off. The cheek bones are off. It's just off.
3: As we get closer to the present day, she begins to look human. Shinra R&D doesn't have the power to resurrect Her. But clearly she started to become human.
Those you hate. Those you fear. Those you love.
God I love this detail.

Thinking about when I worked at a shitty restaurant + one night it was just me + 3 other women on closing shift, so some guy came in the back and waved a knife around, presumably for money but I’m not actually certain, bc he was met with the bartender holding a much bigger knife, a tiny teenager wielding a cast iron pan, an elderly woman holding up a crockpot of clearly boiling water, and me, turning on the meat slicer with eye contact for maximum effect. He left, but the moral of the story is not girl power or whatever, it’s just. Why the fuck would you threaten a room full of underpaid and sleep-deprived blue-collar workers surrounded by lethal weapons.
