There are many people living on this planet and all of them have their own views on what life means to them. There are optimist, pessimist, realist and others. With the development of society, the rhythm of modern life is becoming faster and faster. As a result, many people have suffered from the stress and strain of life. Stress is something that affects many people each and every day. Life is full of hassles, deadlines, frustrations and demands. For some people stress is so common it is a way of life. So what is stress? According to Merriam (2012) Stress is a worry caused by a difficult situation or something that causes this condition.
There are three main factors that cause stress. First is Physical stress factors which include all those things that cause stress on the body. Example of it is lack of sleep. Second is Social stressors which refers to the things that have to do with our connectedness (or lack of it!) with other people and the communities we live in. So retirement, for example, which is supposed to be a “good thing” often results in feelings of loneliness and loss of purpose. In fact, any kind of rapid changes in life, whether good or bad, create stress. The third is emotions. Emotions can also be one of the main causes of stress. This frequently shows up in feeling in some way “not good enough.”
According to healthline (2014) there are ten simple ways to relieve stress; listen to music, call a friend, talk yourself through it, eat right, laugh it off, drink tea, be mindful, exercise, sleep better and breathe. Stress is an unavoidable part of life, but that doesn’t mean that you should ignore it. Rather than letting your stress take over your life, try some methods of stress-management that you can apply to prevent and deal with stress before it jeopardizes your health.

Recently, the rice shortage that affected a number of countries in the Asian region showed how unpredictable nature can be if no certain measures are done about improving rice production. After a quiet period of time, a number of people lining for a bag of National Food Auhority rice can be noticed. And the worse circumstance for them is that consuming a full meal is no longer possible. This seeks for a solution to counter this alarming situation. At restaurants, unconsumed servings of rice are left yet aware of the fact that hungry residents in resettlement areas exist. Another example are those families sheltered in shanties at the town having lunch with mere prawn crackers and noodles at hand. Along the area, youths are satisfying themselves with least modest skewers sold by street vendors. Yet, at the canteen, students disregard the value of rice servings and modest items of food on the plates were left on the table.
