I'm still working on a row, but I thought I'd share the honeycomb since I hadn't before. Each motif is a part of my clan. Everything means something. Except the 6- stand braid. I just really liked it. So, I guess it does mean something in its own way. This is a blanket for my grandchild. They are still an infant, so it might be a while before it's actively used.
It's also the first project I've exclusively knit continental. I was taught the English way, so I've struggled a bit, but it's better. I've frogged and restarted 3 times. I refuse to do so again.
I'm working through the MCU + shows while knitting this, and I'm on season 1 of Luke Cage. I love it.

I made a very pink sweater for my sweetheart and they love it!
Pattern: https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/hanstholm-sweater
Yarn: https://www.purlsoho.com/nine-note-bundle.html
I used the colorway "Begonia," and since I made the XL size, I needed two. I used about 1.5 skeins of each color. To achieve the gradient effect, I alternated rows when switching between colors.

Finished.
Seven years.
40 pattern pages.
140400 stitches.
And if I never see another beige thread again it will be too soon.
Probably never going with 16 count Aida again either.

Maybe my favorite result from my first attempts at natural dyes this September: goldenrod on alum + cream of tartar mordant. If it turns out the color holds well, I'm definitely going to make more next year, because this shade of yellow is brilliant and goldenrod is abundant and invasive in my neck of the woods.
Yarn was spun by me, from mixed wool of couple of Polish sheep breeds.

Pinhole cast on
The pinhole cast on allows you to start knitting in the round from the centre outwards without getting a hole in the middle.

Did I post about my new dress? Possibly. But I can't remember, and today I got a proper picture!
Quite happy with the fit!
The pattern is Luella dress, but I skipped the popcorn stitches.

Art is how we decorate space and music is how we decorate time.
Pattern by Pride and Joy Quilting. I darkened the skin tones and added trim to make braids.
