Hi so uuuh video on aromantic experiences in the dating world (specifically allosexual aro experiences) from whomst I believe is a pretty big youtuber! Especially enjoyed seeing a very cutesy aro person talk openly about sex like @mainstream society try call us either ‘babyish’ or ‘cold’ after this. I don’t 100% agree with everything she says but it be like that sometimes and she does a good job of expressing that what she’s saying is just her personal opinions.

I started working on these snakeskin patterns, and like three different people have said to me since I started showing them that they also look like butterfly wings.
That’s one of the things I love about making these things, and about being queer in general: so much of what we are and who we are exists in these zones of fluidity. How we talk about our orientations and genders involves so much very personal interpretation and I like that this look really has that sort of fluidity of interpretation in it.
Yes, @apocalycious and I have been watching a lot of Project Runway together lately, hush. So anyway these could be snakeskin or they could be butterfly wings.
Everything except the shoes and boots is available in: aromantic, asexual, bisexual, inclusive lesbian, non-binary, pansexual, rainbow and transgender. I have to head to bed so I haven’t gotten anything except transgender and bisexual done in the shoes and boots. They’ll be added, after this weekend. :D

It’s okay to be aplatonic!
Having QPRs is not a requirement of being aro and while a lot of the community focuses on them, you’re not a lesser aro for being aplatonic.

This Lesbian Day of Visibility, I would like to give a shout-out to aspec lesbians! …
•Ace/grey-ace lesbians
•Aro/greyro lesbians
•Aro-ace lesbians
Your identities don’t contradict each other, and are not “just internalised homophobia”. It’s okay if you want relationships that are sexual but not romantic - it doesn’t make you predatory. It’s okay if you want relationships that are romantic but not sexual - it doesn’t mean you’re “just scared”. It’s okay if you want relationships that are neither sexual nor romantic.
It’s okay if you are on the aro/ace spectrums and do feel attraction but rarely, only under certain circumstances, or if it fluctuates/fades.
Your aspec identity doesn’t diminish your lesbian identity and vice versa.
•Lesbians who are in/want QPRs
Wanting QPRs but not romantic relationships doesn’t mean you’re less of a lesbian. A QPR is an equally valid type of relationship.
Your identities and experiences are valid. It’s okay if you feel like your experiences as a lesbian and as [insert other identity here] are inextricable from one another - you shouldn’t feel like you have to leave one part of your identity at the door today, or at any time when you’re talking about your experiences.
Happy Lesbian Day of Visibility!
