Gullwing - Shortfilm from briktop on Vimeo.
Have you ever seen a car spreading its wings? Now you do.
This is a full cgi shortfilm featuring the most iconic car of all time, the Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing, at least in my opinion… I always loved this car, and when I first started this project, I didn’t just wanna make a car rolling by in the desert, I knew there was a bigger story to make, it had to fly. Following its name legacy, I dived deep in this crazy rollercoaster of assembling car parts, raging though the desert of Bonneville salt flats, in order to build a full chassis so the flying body kit could land. After this, the rest is music. A symphony of a few animated shots of this beauty gloriously riding through the desert, creating clouds of smoke through the landscape while hearing that amazing engine roaring.
This is “Gullwing”.

Title Drops from Roman Holiday on Vimeo.
Fresh new month, fresh new montage. Been a while folks. I've gathered many more followers. A big thanks to all you people. Shouldn't be this long a wait for the next montage. I have quite a few going on and this was the one I deemed finished first.
I'm not the first guy to tackle a collection of films where a character says the title of the film. We've had a bunch of recent movies do it though so I figured I'd give the most up to date and comprehensive version I can. All told there are a 150 examples.
For this particular montage it may seem redundant, but here are the titles of the films featured:

Transformative Appetite from Tangible Media Group on Vimeo.
Initiated from Tangible Media Group, MIT Media Lab, Transformative Appetite is our attempt to create shape changing food that transforms from 2D to 3D by hygromorphic interaction through cooking. The transformation process is well compatible with ‘flat packaging’ (this concept can substantially reduce shipping cost), and was achieved through material composite design, hybrid fabrication strategy and shape-stress simulation.
Creators: Prof. Hiroshi Ishii is the supervisor. Wen Wang and Lining Yao are the co-leading authors. Other team members include Teng Zhang, Chin-Yi Cheng and Daniel Levin. This project is supported by Food + Future.
Video production: Lining Yao, concept creation; Michael Indresano Production, video production; Fragmento Universo, sound composition.

Analogue Loaders from Raphael Vangelis on Vimeo.
This short film is my animated autobiography. I spend most of my life swearing at the computer because it's crashed or isn't working. Here, well known digital symbols are turned into something analogue and playful. The result is an homage to all the lost time we collectively spend in digital limbo in the hopes of sudden development on our screen.

#UnitedNotDivided from United Not Divided America on Vimeo.
Most people fear what they do not understand. It is that fear that breeds racism, sexism, discrimination, and more. The only way to break down fear is through communication and understanding. As a visual artist I have the power to communicate in ways others don’t. This project is a way for me to communicate my wish for us all to realize that democracy doesn’t require uniformity, but it does require active citizenship. It’s time to see past the lines in the sand and stop pointing fingers at the problem. We need to unite as citizens of the world to actively make the global community a better place. We need to embrace our differences, and the right to have opinions, even if they may be unpopular to some.
This project came about as a way for me to express my voice using the skill set that I have. Everyone has a different skill and I encourage you to use it towards sending a positive, thought provoking message. This project evolved from a simple idea to explode powders into a video with a very powerful message that took an active team to create. This project could not have come to life without a string of very talented and creative individuals from all different backgrounds. The final outcome is meant to bring citizens from all over the world together, and the process of creating the video had the same affect within our team. In this behind the scenes video you will see how it all came together. I hope to incite you to share your voice and use your skills to create something inspiring.
In the end we are all human beings with the same basic necessities. No matter the state of our union; we are all striving for Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. With those basic necessities in mind I know we can find common ground.
