Follow my other blogs!!
I have @pppariahhh which is a blog for personal posts
and since I happen to be a lover of aesthetics, I also started @greatsmartphonewallpaper where you can see a bunch of really artistically inspiring background images for your smart phone INCLUDING some of my favorites that I have used before!
Anyway, they're both pretty chic and quiche if you want to learn more about me!

A suuuuper cute AND FLUFFY scarf I made also with yarn my aunt gave me. Honestly the photos don't do it justice it's giving Free People but I made it myself. I used a circle knitting loom and then crocheted the flowers on and I left the tails because I can't be bothered but it just added to the aesthetic. Thank you.

A couple of cute mini purses I made with some of the yarn my aunt gave me last year! I absolutely love the blue yarn but it was not easy to work with. I almost wore the green one to a wedding in September but I was afraid it would get ruined. Oh well.

A very SUS photo of a market bag I made. Which is really a Santa bag because I used it to haul all of my Christmas gifts. 🎁

If anyone remembers…
I was putting this bag together in one of my live streams and now she is complete! She holds little scraps I wound up a couple weeks ago. I am thinking of lining her and maybe adding a zipper.
What do you think??

Happy Human Holiday!
I am violently hungover.
Last night I had strawberry ice cream and booze on an empty stomach. I should have known it was a bad idea because of the last time I had strawberry ice cream and booze on an empty stomach.
Anyway, both times I vomited on things that don’t belong to me and when I woke up today I pretended nothing happened. The room I’m staying in smelled really bad (because of the vomit) so I sprayed it down with name brand odor-eliminating spray and it seems safe because nobody else said anything about any strange and/or bad smells.
If you haven’t noticed by now, this is a shit post but I promise you there really have been two separate times in the past one year that I’ve had strawberry ice cream and drank too much and subsequently vomited in places that are not my own.
(My vomit clothes are tied up in a grocery bag. Hopefully I can get through one last day without anyone ever knowing. Pray for me.)

And here she is. The best thing I’ve ever created. 🥲

Process:
One day in 2018, I decided to make a patchwork blanket. I grabbed some color coordinating yarns and went to work crafting several different sized square and rectangle shapes. I lay them each out with precision into blanket fashion and stitched them together. I loved so much how it turned out that I decided to keep it spread out on my bed, not for the world to see but just for me. My cats ended up loving it as much as I did until one day I snapped a picture of them enjoying its warmth and comfort. I think I posted it to my Instagram (or maybe Facebook, which I had at the time) not even realizing other people were looking. About a year later, I went for a day trip with a really good family friend and her daughter. I was surprised when she told me as she drove me home that she had seen the blanket and hadn’t been able to stop thinking about it. This is when she told me she wanted to buy it from me. I accepted her offer knowing how much I loved the blanket for myself, thinking it was the best thing I’d ever created. Letting go of it was really hard at first.
This isn’t the story of the piece you are seeing above, but I began to realize I loved the piece so much because I had actually made it for somebody else. When you’re a creative, sometimes you are just making an agreement with ‘God’ to let the art come through you from other realms in your mind and/or subconscious. This is what makes art so important. I didn’t know at the time. I believed I was only doing it for me but now I know that in reality I’m doing this to help the world. To help others get through it. So please. Remember that if you are an artist or any kind of creative. This is your gift to this world, this realm, this planet, these people.
Now about these photos. This piece was actually supposed to be another one of those blankets I’ve been talking about. I don’t recall exactly what happened during the process but something else ended up coming through so as I was fitting the pieces together, it started to look like something else to me. Sometimes, you love something so much you want more of it. You want to clone it when in reality, it’s one of a kind and not meant to be recreated. Truthfully, I did not end up loving this one as much as the image of it that was inside my head. However, I decided to post it anyway remembering the experience I had with that fateful patchwork blanket. Maybe this will help someone. Maybe give someone inspiration. Maybe someone will even want to take it off of my hands someday. Anyway, I still think about that patchwork blanket.
