I love how it's literally canon Cass would randomly break into Steph's house and Tim's apartment and also the manor before she was adopted and had zero remorse each time. Waking Steph up in the middle of the night while sitting on her bed. Eating Tim's rice krispies and using all his hot water then leaving without even saying hi. Lounging in Bruce's chair and snooping around the manor while he's being investigated for murder. Showing up in a dressing gown at the door to the manor when a social worker tries to investigate Jason Todd's death, offering zero explanation of who she is because technically she had yet to exist at that point. Breaking into the batcave when she needed information and kicking Dick in the face when he tried to stop her. Breaking into the CIA to remove all evidence she exists, cementing her status as an urban legend. The chances of Cassandra Wayne appearing randomly in your house are low

but never zero.

This!!!!! This!!!!!! I ADORE doing art with ballpoint pens!

An additional benefit to ballpoint pens: You can do a drawing anywhere, any time with the supplies you naturally have around for uni/school.

I procrastinated signing up for O-Week activities so while my friends were off doing other things I took out my little pencil case and the free diary I picked up and started drawing this. Granted I didn't finish it all at once, and I added some whiteout and highlighter in certain places, but the point remains - Using cheap and/or everyday stationary for art is sick.

The best drawing advice I can give to anyone who wants to improve quickly is to use cheap notepad paper and ballpoint pens. I know it's tempting to buy the cool fancy supplies but then you'll feel pressured to not waste them. Use garbage materials and burn through them with zero thought. Only use pen because it forces you to commit and stops you from second guessing your lines and redrawing them over and over. Learn how to use your mistakes and then learn how to get it right the first time. I took numerous art classes and nothing taught me more than buying a big pack of Bics and legal pads and sketching anything that came to mind without hesitation. Fill a few pages everyday with the first thing that comes to mind. Don't rip out pages you don't like, just flip to the next page and try again. Watch yourself improve. If you really want to be a good artist, you need to learn how to draw from the ground up without relying on quality materials.
