OC / Watercolour

Mainly used Van Gogh watercolours, Baohong Academy paper and a Sakura Moonlight gel pen in highlighter yellow for the glowy parts!

Despite posting so less this year (esp in comparison to last year) I'm so glad technically all of them got better engagement than expected... coz God knows how even worse my motivation would be if that wasn't the case 😭🥲

I really wish I could be part of an art community like the past but the internet climate's just not the same.. and hasn't been for a very long time. Back in 2018-19 I was already sadened by this, since then I have gotten into new communities and fandoms yes but since those have been dying for a while too I have been reminded again. I mean I am probably part to blame because I myself cannot bring myself to participate in art communities (on Discord) much, but also nothing compels me to. And most of the ones I joined are kinda inactive. Idk it just feels sad to be on the internet nowadays, where's the excitement. Talking to my small friend group is the only thing keeping me going and I'm glad I have good friends, but lowkey when they're busy or asleep I feel sad again </3 I feel like I need to have more background interactions to stay sane.....
