dick describing harry as a “good” and “tough” little irishman really tugs at my heartstrings bc besides nix obviously harry was his best friend and one of the guys who (despite all their differences) understood dick the most! they shared a billet in aldbourne where they became very close and worked hand in hand throughout the war. the way they were all so happy when harry came back from the hospital too </3
