What bothers me is when people make posts like “I heard Disney Channel has its first gay character and are about to have a canon gay couple. That’s so amazing!” or “I don’t watch this show but these two boys are so cute together!” and then.....don’t watch the show?? Like please please support this show. It’s so important. I don’t care if the last episode is next week and you haven’t seen a single episode, watch the episode. Support this show. We need Disney to know that representation is important to people and that it won’t take away views. The last episode is the most important one.

I was just thinking about how Alex could be ace or bi and we probably wouldn’t know just yet because like most people he probably only knows gay and straight but I remembered he lives with Elena and she’s on top of the issues and she probably rambles about everything every chance she gets.

But then I realized that doesn’t mean he’s explored his sexuality yet we know that he’s attracted to girls (maybe? He said in an episode of season 2 that he’s straight but romantic and sexual attraction are different (they go hand in hand sometimes but that doesn’t make them the same) and I’m kinda operating under the assumption that that’s true and he just hasn’t explored his sexuality a whole ton yet and he’s not trying to fit in with his friends or something because in season 1 when he accidentally eavesdropped on Elena confessing that she think she might be gay he tried comforting her by saying who cares) so we know he is at least romantically attracted to girls so he could be 1. Heteroromantic asexual 2. Heteroromantic bisexual 3. Biromantic bisexual 4. Biromantic asexual

hey please watch at least four episodes of One Day at a Time on Netflix so we can get a fourth season

some reasons why:

main character is a single veteran cuban mother who deals with ptsd, depression and anxiety

it has mental health awareness!! in this new season we can see penelope (main character) being more open about her mental ilnesses

lgbt+ representation !! and it’s positive !!!

it deals with alcohol addiction too

it talks about feminism, politics and the importance of voting, racism, religion, white-passing, deportation and a bunch of other really important stuff

it’s a show about a cuban family, and all the actors and actresses who portray latinx characters ARE actually latinx, meaning no white washing !!!!

watch it! tell your friends!! help us have a new season because this show deserves it, and the people who this show represents deserve it too.
