not allowing julian to see his kids because he doesn't have feelings for you is low, even for you.

I don't care that he doesn't have feelings for me, I'm keeping him from seeing them because I don't want Belle around them and if he continues to be rude to me I don't want him around them.

I've always guessed his true feelings, it doesn't make it any easier to hear them. Though I suppose I was too harsh with him, I should've seen it coming. I figured as much, I've upset him greatly and I'd have to lose my pride before I could begin to come to some agreeable terms with him. I only wish I had talking to Peter to know he refused Beruna a bastard heir, perhaps this all would have been avoided.

Well perhaps she was going to tell you...I don't know the inner workings of her mind. It's a gift he told me himself but I didn't wish to hear it regardless. I...argued with your king over the inheritance of my son to Beruna. Because he is a bastard, Peter says he is not the true heir and will receive nothing and isn't the true heir. I'll be honest when I say I was not kind in return to what he had to say.

I have known Belle since I was a young boy of nine years old in Lantern Waste. No, she’s never been one to be open about such matters. And a good thing too! Having anyone other than Julian telling you would be cruel and insulting. What cause does the King have for thinking unkindly of you? It is my understanding that your children were born for the sole reason of giving Julian an heir. While I certainly don’t agree with his methods, I don’t think he would disguard them.

ooc: the ‘whining’ chat is supposed to be from months ago, she doesn’t give a flying fuck about Julian or Belle anymore so she’s naturally going to be bitchy with both of them. And she would develop farther than that but this girl has one friend, now two, and one of them is in love with the girl who hates her guts. So thank you for your kind opinion but I will do with my character what I want.

*gives him a grateful smile but looks puzzled* Are you close friends? I suspect she didn't tell anyone though she was probably the one to put Julian up to the task of telling me. I wouldn't doubt that they paid some people off to keep it quiet. *nods slowly* I understand that, but even King Peter is not fond of me. My son is supposed to be his heir but now I doubt if even Julian wants that to happen now that he has Belle.

*nods, crumbling the handkerchief in her hand and sighing* A few weeks, months at the most. Probably since they came back from Beruna, Aslan knows they were close before that but even more so when they returned. *brushes her hair out of her face* He turned his back on me when I needed him and threatened to send me away from them multiple times. He deserves a lesson in humility, I can give them my undivided love and affection.

I was talking to Julian..he forced me to listen to his involvement with the Lady  Belle and admitted that he'd been lying to me all this time about how they've been courting. Only now he's upset that I've refused to let him see our children *takes the offered handkerchief and gives him a weak smile as she wipes at her cheeks* That's very kind of you.
