“You and M-e.

Misse you must forgive me for my tremendous lack of energy. I've been thinking about you every day, but actually haven't been able to pull myself together so much that I could settle down to write in peace and quiet. It wasn't kind of you to hit me with not sticking by you. I don't bother looking, that's how sure i am there's no one like you. You have no idea how (empty) it is without you. I'm all alone now. I see Vera very rarely. I haven't visited any theaters, not even Dram. I'm completely detatched, I don't think I belong here anymore. A rather unhappy feeling, you know. In Berlin it wasn't fun because of the language - it was so big there, one felt a little abandoned. Then I longed to go home, but when I go to Dram. during the day and seeing everything that stomps at the same pace year after year, I don't know what kind of emotions one gets. It's shabby - I don't know how everything has turned out!. So it has become difficult in another direction as well. Moje is unwell, if he were to be put to bedrest everything goes for nothing. (About + More in life) But if everything works out, Misse, then I'll come and see you before I leave. Then you will come to me - if it came to that! If it's really true that you promised yourself away, but I don't really believe that yet, then you know that I wish you happiness (a lot). That sort of thing is something that everyone has to figure out for themselves (without others) but forgive me, I don't think I'm really happy. But you know best yourself! Mimse, I make myself sick longing for you. I would like to talk to you about a lot. It's lucky for me that I have some things to do, otherwise I would have taken my duffel bag and gone to you. I study German and try on lots of clothes at NK. Soul-killing you must believe. That's why I'm so tired in the evenings so I put off writing. It might not be space for you. Knut M. tried brilliantly and is now a student at K. Dram. I admire his energy, you do too when I do right? Beloved Misse I wish to hold the softest sweetest little hand the world chose. I wanted to put down a world of longing on this paper to show - Oh You and M-e.
