It was valentines day and you felt a bit upset as you sat in your dorm. You watched everyone get gifts, cards and even kisses! But unlucky for you, you didn't get any. Why would you get any anyway? You was ugly, dumb, m- PING Your phone pinged. You opened your phone to see an unknown message, you clicked on the notification. As you read it's said, "Meet me at Takoba Municipal Beach?" You wondered why, why would this person want to meet somewhere? So you got dressed, and took your pepper-spray for protection in case it was a villian or some creep, just to be safe! You arrived at the location, a bit wary of your surroundings. Then you saw someone. It's Midoriya?! You obviously knew that green hair from anywhere! You ran up to him, he looked panicked for some reason as his hands were behind his back. "Midoriya? Did you send me that text?" Izuku's poor face gotten so red, you'd swear he had gotten sunburn. "Ah, em- y-yeah I did... urm...." Then he pulls his hands from behind his back, one hand holding a red and white colored box in a shape of a heart, and a bouquet of red roses.

"Wi-will you please be my valentines? I'm sorry if this is too normal and not what you like I can buy y'some different flowers or- or a different box of chocolates! I don't really know what you like so I chose some roses and the largest heart shaped chocolates at the store, I jus' want you to be happy and-" "Woah, woah- calm down. I love these. Thank you." You spoke up to stop his rambling. As then you soon took the kind gifts in your hands, then proceeded lean to kiss him on the forehead. He gotten so red to the thought that he could've ate a spicy pepper.

"I will be your valentine Midoriya, Izuku."

Izuku absolutely LOVES to cuddle. On a couch? Cuddle time. Laying in bed? Cuddle time. On a train? Yes. He's going to love you endlessly.

Of course Izuku gets upset when you have to leave or when you are too busy at some moments. How could he not? He doesn't want to leave his beautiful lover for more than a minute. His most precious thing in the world, other than All Might and Mama Inko of course!

Izuku loves watching you do things. You offered him to help cook, he chose to just watch. He prefers to watch you do things you are incredibly magnificent at! It could be drawing, he'd watch over your shoulder. Cooking or baking, he'd obviously had to be the one to rate and taste test! Sewing or crocheting, oh how he loves the little things you'd make him.

Izuku gets a bit jealous when you don't show affection, but yet you are out with your friends? He's not the one to be jealous, and he doesn't mind you spending time with your besties! But he gets sad when he feels you aren't doing anything fun together, like going out.

I truly agree on this.

Some selfshippers are non-sharing because selfshipping is an outlet for feeling like they are chosen out of anyone else and are utterly adored above all by their F/O(s).

Many selfshippers are emotionally and physically isolated, have low self-esteem and confidence, have relationship hang ups, mental health issues and many other things, and they selfship for comfort. And that is so beautiful and an absolutely healthy and acceptable coping mechanism.

And unless a non-sharer is specifically invading a double’s personal space to invalidate their feelings and ship? Or encouraging others to mistreat doubles on their behalf? They are fully allowed to denounce all other ships with their F/O(s) and refer to themselves as their one true love.

They’re allowed to hate that doubles break that sense of immersion and feel insecure and jealous. They’re allowed to express that on THEIR pages. They’re allowed to call them dupes, they can say that they’re jealous as long as they’re not singling out anyone by name. It’s everybody’s responsibility to block whatever they don’t like to see and simply mind their business.

If one feels uncomfortable because somebody affirms and comforts themselves by calling themselves their F/O’s only partner, then they can lend some empathy and compassion and imagine how they must feel in turn. Selfshipping is inherently self indulgent and hence selfish! Let people do what works for them as long as they’re not forcing it onto others.
