I blinked and you were gone

One moment and we are done

I lost myself in my thoughts

One second and we are ghosts

It is empty

and burning

Ripped apart by the very same feeling

That held us together

And keep buliding

it's not easy

being an artist

to write a few words

speak to a person's deepest feelings

to move them

you must destroy yourself

down to the smallest fragments

and then step by step

glue the pieces together with a sticky notfeeling

fill the holes with a binder of hopelessness

polish the whole thing with sleepless nights

you can also sprinke with the lie of love

but I advise against it

and when you've done it all

look at your work with pride

and despair

That didn't lose their magic

after a hundredth gaze
