Jean Paul Gaultier goes out with a BANG at his very last ready-to-wear show during Paris fashion week. Known as the “enfant terrible” of French fashion, Gaultier drew upon inspiration for his Spring/Summer 2015 show from his archives as well as those near and dear to his heart in the fashion industry. Make sure to catch "cameos" by Grace Coddington, Suzy Menkes, and Emmanuelle Alt.
Gaultier will still remain active in the industry, but will focus solely on Haute Couture.

FALL 2014 Denim Guide
Womanswear
This fall season it's all about the high-waisted jean. Embellished denim also appeared on the runway with high influence on the vintage resurgence. The flair makes it's return, as well as the distressed. Gearing more towards the modern grunge-chic woman, Hedi Slimane at Saint Laurent seems to perfect the worn-in look rather well.
top pick- Moschino's quilted denim jacket with gold chain embellishment.

2014 Met Gala "Charles James: Beyond Fashion"
This year's Costume Institute's exhibit is paying homage to Charles James, the late-great FIRST American couturier. James' gowns were not only classic ballroom creations, but also incredibly technologically advanced for his time. He is also credited for introducing the (white satin) quilted jacket.
In addition to the Charles James exhibit, this year's gala celebrated the newly inducted "Anna Wintour Costume Center". Ms. Wintour has been chair of this Gala since 1995.
Top 5 Met Gala Looks:
1. Karolina Kurkova- Marchesa
2. Naomi Watts- Givenchy Haute Couture
3. Anna Wintour- Chanel Haute Couture
4. Karlie Kloss- Oscar de la Renta
5. Liu Wen- Zac Posen

Coco Chanel despised denim, Karl on the other hand made them chic once again.
Each December, Karl Lagerfeld chooses a city associated with the house for his special "Métiers d'Art" show and Dallas has more significance than the rest. When Coco Chanel showed her 1954 (comeback) collection the American Press gave rave reviews, and Dallas department store Neiman Marcus was so supportive that she visited them in 1957 to receive an award. The Métiers d'Art show produced every year shows the craftsmanship of it's ateliers, and unlike the other designer's pre-fall collections, Karl artfully balances this show somewhere in between haute couture and ready-to-wear.

Menswear Summer 2013 ESSENTIALS
Summer 2013 is going to be the season of Prints, Neon Colors, and Lightweight vibrantly colored apparel. Instead of the dull/dry sandal this year, add a little print to it and STRAP it up. Another footwear choice of the season will be the monkstrap loafer. Tassels are hip, but lets face it, a double monkstrap is hipper. The top houses showcased their collections by offering a wide variety of intricate prints, definitive cuts, and unconventional pairings. Short sleeve (printed) button-ups reign supreme in lightweight materials such as linen, and pairing them up with cohesively printed shorts will most certainly be a winning combination. Finally if you're dressing it up on any given occasion a lightweight yet vibrantly colored chino is the way to go, throw on a statement (BLUE) blazer and you'll be the sartorial king this summer!
Minimalistic "Gladiator" (Flat) Sandals
Monkstrap Loafers (Brown)
Short Sleeve Printed Button-Up
SHORT Shorts (Printed)
Lightweight LITE Color Chino
Statement Blazer (Blue)
