Every time I remember the way Lu Guang screamed in the Season 2 finale when Cheng Xiaoshi got shot, it only makes me wonder how many times he’s witnessed this exact scenario—and how, no matter how much time has passed, he’ll never get used to seeing his best friend die.
My theory is that the Season 1 & 2 timeline is the farthest he’s ever made it in his attempt to save Cheng Xiaoshi. That’s why I can completely understand the frustration and anger he felt, which he unleashed on the antagonist, tackling and punching him like a rabid beast. Lu Guang was furious, terrified even, and with good reason—he thought, yet again, someone had taken his friend’s life right in front of his eyes just when he was finally making progress toward saving him.
Oh, Lu Guang, you’re such a complex and great character. I could analyze you for hours.

weirdest thing that happened to me in the last two weeks was a girl trying to imply i was racist bc i didn’t say i found a chinese guy good looking?????
#🌙.txt#for context i mentioned the two other guys in the group where good looking bc one is totally the type of guy i find cute and the other was#in retaliation of someone calling him ugly#which i think is harsh for no reason#in general i like people and i think they are good looking but then this girl got mad at me bc i didn’t say anything about the chinese guy#and implied i was racist bc of it which is a weird thing to assume tbh#and i think he’s good looking too and i said so!! liek i long time ago but why u putting words in my mouth#so i was put in a weird position where i had to say he was good looking too and it was just weird#and i kinda hated it bc i feel like she thinks i like men and that makes me uncomfortable 😔#whenever i say girls are pretty many people don’t think it’s the same as me saying guys are pretty#which is weird bc i think of them the same#<- i feel like i’ve said nothing in the tags my bad i don’t plan on rereading or rephrasing anything
