woah. it's been a hot minute. i don't know if anybody is still listening to this blog, but i'm finally getting back into the writing swing of things, so i'm ready to put something out soon! the first chapter of my new fic is almost finished, so i can't wait to show y'all!

i horsified the old man oops ill come in with a pitch horse when i can find a good fucking BASE ANYHOW i. went a little insane!!! i turned him into a fuckign horse. actually really proud of this despite it being on a base. original base is by elementbases on DA, go check em out if you like mlp bases. ill horsify the others later but i needed pony kozmotis to be real. hes a unicorn bc i said so. in my head golden age ponies have the funny lion-like tails you see in like, medieval unicorn art. modern ponies have normal tails. let me know who u wanna see horsified next, if i end up making this a series. probably gonna do jack eventually.

OK SO. inspired by works from people like @alkalinefrog and @twiafom (amazing work guys, hope you don't mind the tag!) i've officially subscribed to long haired jack frost, more specifically long haired jack frost with a ponytail. certain parts of this design are very much hindering on my own au and all the nightlight shenanigans BUT for the most part this is actually not that far off from a genuine "future jack frost" design, if you'd ask me to come up with one. SO here i present you, winter herald jack frost! bonus design feature explanation: -the wreath is mint, specifically chocolate mint! - the lapel is an au thing, specifically nightlight's shattered starcore -the flowers, aswell as the wreath, are from bunny! blue roses and forget me nots - his hoodie has been traded for a cloak, that tapers off near its worn ends into wintery mist - his ears are more elvish, to more closely resemble nightlight - not seen in the photo, his left eye is pastel green! - the earring is also a nod to nightlight

OMG tysm!!! you have no idea how big a compliment "looks like stained glass" is, let alone being told my lineworks good, especially coming from you thank you for looking, and im glad you like it!! i had alot of fun, i've been meaning to draw jack with long hair since you first started drawing that god!jack design that had it. something about pretty boys with the long white hair, man. artists dream. thank YOU GUYS for having work thats so inspiring in the first place! i plan on drawing more stuff in this style now that im more comfortable in it ^^ <3

I don't think I'll get over the wasted potential that was Nightlight and Mim's bond. It could have been more familial since Nightlight practically helped in raising Manny.

Like yes they were friendly when they finally met in person again on the moon but it fould have been a lil more.

Nightlight was like a caretaker/older brother for him and yet Manny ended up being physically older than him. How odd would that be for the both of them?

They're more than a Diamond and Pearl servant dynamic your honor. Manny n Jack/Nightlight are brothers and see themselves as such thank you.

Hi, if you still wanted prompts maybe something about portraits? Since everyone grows, more recent ones might be nice, and it can be emotional. I also like thinking about Mother Nature andJack bonding, the north wind looking out for him. Maybe drabbles where the guardians learn and appreciate each others' work? I just discovered your blog so I hope any of those would be fun for you!

Back at it again with my takes.

When Nightlight gained a real body and began talking every now and again he'd say some odd things. Some examples are:

"This body sheds skin..hair.. I was hoping flesh kept itself together more."

"I'm fine! I'm just not used to bleeding, would be neat if it didn't hurt so much."

"Crying is more tiring now that I can feel it. How do babies do it so much?"

"Hearing my own heart and feeling it beat through my ears is making me feel things. I am not used to my body operating on its own."

The Guardians would be reminded just how alien the boy was everytime he'd utter something like that. Mim found it quite amusing and Katherine found it endearing. It took him a while to get used to a more humanoid form but it only got more hectic when he became a winter spirit.
