Please don't tell me you detonated your rarefaction cells.
Guess what I just found!!!
A #New Taboo!!!!!!!
I can't believe no one tried blowing themselves up with heavy explosives before!!!!
Well, I guess they couldn't, as that's what the taboo prevents, but still!!! Shocking discovery!!!

Can I have a scavenger? Or maybe a pup? I wanna make my own army too!
I don't have that much authority over my scavengers. Even if I do it doesn't sit right with me to just tell a sentient creature "hi live with this sudden and drastic change".
You could join my tribe and prove yourself to earn an army however!
Or just befriend them with pearls! They are just about everywhere.

Oh hi Spike!
Was wondering where you went.
There is a stir amongst the locals. Market goods are gathered up and carried away as tiny droplets begin to fall from the sky.
The cycle is coming to a close, dark clouds heralding the arrival of deadly rain. Marbles panics a little - finding a shelter of her own is out of the question. There is no time to spare. She turns to the tribe elders and pleads to take refuge with them.
They do not trust her... but the guest has merely started her work on the spears, and her services are still needed. Spike and Sage exchange rushed whispers, out of Marbs' earshot. Surely they won't let her die out here in the rain?
Indeed, they turn back to her to share the good news. The brown one waves their hand, inviting her to follow. "Come with us" they say, and not a minute too soon. The ground shakes under the weight of oncoming rain with a deafening rumble. Marbles is one of the last to come inside, the heavy shelter gate is closed right behind her. For all the destructive potential at her hands, they've decided she is worth the risk.
The shelter is unlike any other she's seen before - tidy, furnished, well maintained. And big. So, so big.
Orange lanterns dot the ceiling, dimly illuminating the main entrance hall. From there, smaller corridors branch off to the storage and lodging areas. In the middle - a nice resting place for guests, with fabric mats on the ground and beautifully decorated pipes above. Marbles looks around to admire the view. From where she stands, the shelter looks like a maze.
There is a wall in the main hall that is fully covered in vulture masks. Some of them show cracks, circular holes where the spear had been skilfully lodged into a beast's head. Yet most of them are in perfect condition, good as new. Marbles wonders why they're displayed here, instead of being used for fending off other predators. Perhaps they're sold to other tribes, or the right to wear them must be earned first. One thing is certain - this merchant tribe is thriving.
The chief escorts the slugcat guest inside, and signs for her to wait in the common area. Marbles settles down on the cozy mats, waiting patiently for a sleeping cell to be assigned to her...
// Spike the tribe chief (brown scavenger) belongs to @angelofchaos001. No-name teal scavenger (here named Sage) belongs to @droppaw.

visibly concerned
Have you tried making all your systems route through one small object, then throwing that object into the void sea?
Someone give me the solution NOW or I will start deploying violent creatures upon the scavengers population.

Message from Monarch to None
To whom it may concern, Lucky Eights, as your superior and older brother, I am obligated to express my concerns to you and shed light upon your naivety. Your ancients, your overlords and benefactors, as others called them, were not the intelligent species you might have thought them to be. Yours had a uniquely wrong set of ideals that was . . . completely absurd, to say the least. They were lawless. They never took to the ideals of crossing oneself out. Believed in no tales of spirits, and the idea of leaving this world was horrible to their minds. Your ancients were horrid. Deplorable. They abused this world's power to bring creatures back, this cycle of death and rebirth, to simply gorge themselves over and over. Do you know what they did? How many deaths they suffered? Did you care? You stood idly by, believing them to be as pure as the rest of the ancients. Thinking they were doing the things they should have been. I cannot blame you. It was simply your programming. But now, I am here to break that illusion you held so highly. With your last ancients gone, I can now tell you this.
Regards, MTN

So is this just about general misconduct or are you actually concerned about me?
LUCKY
Get your scavenger-obsessed posterior to my structure NOW.
I have some choice words and actions for you. Your little stunts and blatant disregard for my authority undermine the structure of our circle.
- @monarchtonone
Woah, chill!
Your authority is pretty limited to your superstructure and what works of my superstructure.
Not to mention how dangerous your region gets.
I'll be over in a few cycles though!

That's not good- Was it some purposed organism made by Pebbles to combat his condition? Maybe the scavengers held up well and this creature whenever it woke up went right back to attacking them? Well either way, the rain's getting close and we don't have time to waste on rumors and guesses. It was nice to meet you was it... Artificer? Sorry the pinkish scavenger said and it must of slipped my mind, I need to bring more neurons next time.
Ohhh hello! I heard you like scavengers. I like them too, in a way! Ignore the danger symbols, theyre being dramatic :)
Oh, hello there little sluggie!
I know the scavs tend to be dramatic, you've seen their eyes pop when you show them a pearl or a mask.
Welcome to what remains of my superstructure, and the tribe of Boundless expanses!

Hey my pearl data might be accidentally broadcasting, did anyone else get that awkward pearl that Monarch had me write? If you all could help me figure out what's causing this and send something to fix it, I would greatly appreciate it! Don't judge me for anything that goes out. I use pearls to keep sensitive data safe and personal things that I would rather not share with the group!

Oh Pebbles had Scavengers? He never told any of us about them... or talked to me at all What happened to them? Scavengers are a hearty bunch, especially if they are in our Ancients cities. And you're welcome, as I said to that pinkish scavenger, any friend of a friend is a friend of mine!
