I really enjoyed this book … the characters were great and I cared about them and felt with them. The writing was good and the storyline was very intriguing. I would definitely recommend this book and can’t wait to read another one by this author.

Write your own script by A.L. Brooks

Even though the topic of the book is used over and over again in lesbian romances- closeted celebrity is afraid to fall in love and meets somebody worthy to come out for – I still really enjoyed this book. A.L. Brooks pulled me into the story and made me feel for the characters- both of them were very likable.

I would definitely recommend this book!!

A Curious Woman by Jess Lea

This book was really hard to review – and I had a hard time deciding how many stars to give it. I liked the overall story and the writing but it’s was a different, odd book. It had a little bit of everything- mystery, romance, suspense… etc. At times it was a bit dragging and confusing to put all the pieces together but all in all quite enjoyable.

A Lover’s Mercy by Fiona Zedde

This was a sequel to power of mercy – but I think it can be read as a stand alone. Some of the same characters are in it but other than that it doesn’t overlap too much.

The story and characters of the book are ok but what kind of ruined the story for me was the point of view or more specifically the narrator- the narrator seemed bored with the story and I just didn’t like it.

Not the marrying kind by Jae

It was an enjoyable book to read with strong characters and a good, easy storyline. It is a sequel but can definitely be read on its own. For me Jae has lost something in her writing… I love her earlier books but all of her recent ones just don’t have the same pull to them.

It is still a good book I’m just used to a “more pulling you in” style from Jae.

The first part of the book was a bit confusing and dragging… it picked up at about the 40%-45% mark and made more sense and became more enjoyable to read. I have to admit I stopped reading it for a while and picked it back up later and finished it but the beginning was just not keeping my interest.

A date with Death by Mia Archer Its a typical Mia Archer story - it;s cute and fun to read but has some annoying repeatative phrases in it that I start to overlook after a while. I enjoyed the book but it wont become one of my favorites.

Her Endure by Domina Alexandra It was a nice story with sometimes an odd word choice that I had to get used too... It had some twists and turns and some unexpected things .

More than what we see by Kayden Sol I like many other books by the author but this one wasn’t as good.... I didn’t feel the connection between the two main characters and I also didn’t really understand the “betrayal” - it was like 20 years ago and they shared a kiss as teenagers - I don’t think it is realistic that somebody - or both - and all their friends would still hold on to that.
