The world she built is amazing and the characters *chefs kiss*

Plussss...the plot twist on the last page of the book....I can honestly tell you that I did not see that coming. Not even a tiny bit and I cried I was sooo happy. I do believe she is going to punch Xaden in the face for it tho 😆

I would die for Tairn #SassyDragon and Andarna and I am sooo excited to see how she's changed since she evolved?...grew up? I am so excited for Voilet to finally get to ride her! Plus....who are her parents??? Why is she with Tairn and his mate?

I also can't wait for Tairn and Violet to see Dain again and I hope they roast him alive!! "I'll miss you, Violet" oh God the hate that I have for this man 🤬

Rihannon is the best friend we all deserve! Never once has she turned her back on Violet. She's done everything to help her and be there for her and it all started with a boot.

Speaking of people we all drserve......Mira! She couldn't save her from their mother's decision, but be damed if she wasn't gonna do everything in her power to protect Violet.

Their mother is a trash human. Knowing how breakable her daughter is and sent her to the riders in spite of it. I also find it fishy that her mother can control storms and it started raining as soon as she got on the parapet and stopped when she got off. I hope to God that Violet is the key to winning this war and her mother just unbeknowingly gave the winning hand to the rebellion.

Brennan. Yay he's alive, but all of the pain violet went through because of his death isn't going to be easy to get over. Plus I think she is going to low key blame him for their fathers death since his heart didn't start failing until after Brennan "died". They are going to have alot to work through. Especially since Mira has no idea Brennan is alive.

I don't trust General Melgren at all, but I am confused. His dragon is the most powerful and they said that dragons never bond to riders that are against Navarre (idr how to spell it) so his dragon has to know that they are hiding Venin from the rest of the world and leaving people to die. That the reason there isn't peace is because they aren't at war with the griffin riders at all...

Xaden can destroy all of my furniture....idk

I love this book so much and I am so excited for the second installment in the series.
