day #1 { journal entry: number one }

My family thinks there is something wrong with me. My mother and my father, who divorced a long time ago, decided to take me to the doctors because they're curious. It wasn't their option at first, they didn't even think of it until my brother mentioned it a week ago.

My older brother Asriel and I sleep in the same room, and according to him, he's worried there's something off about me. He told our mother about how I talk to myself during my spare time. Asriel told dad that whenever we're alone that he doesn't feel safe around me.

He told them how I'm not the same Kris I was years ago. But what would he know? I have always been quiet and reclusive. I don't trust people so I don't bother getting close. It took years for me to get friendly with Asriel and our parents, despite how nice and generous they are.

I'm still the same Kris. Only difference is now I do speak, so I don't understand what the whole problem is. Isn't this what they wanted? The more and more I think about it, the more and more angrier I get. I wish Asriel didn't say anything, he needs to learn to shut his mouth next time.
