“Maybe not the BOATHOUSE or the coffee shop,” Diana shook her head, a little keen on avoiding Adam and Cassie for the time being. “I THINK Nick and Melissa are still at the abandoned house so maybe the library?” she offered softly. She LOVED their town, but it had grown smaller to her all of a sudden. “We can use my place but I think my dad has a date with Faye’s MOM tonight.”

     HC:    01    —    CRYSTALS AND GEMSTONES 

                   EVERY WITCH HAS A SPECIFIC CRYSTAL. It is supposed to embody the very essence of the witch it attaches itself to. While a crystal on its on has no inherent supernatural properties, it becomes a natural medium for magic in the hand’s of a witch. Certain crystals, however, can be overwhelming to witches who were them, affecting both their behavior and their magic. This mostly pertains to red and orange crystals, but also goes for crystals such as lodestone, hematite, and onyx.

                   Suzan’s working crystal is a CARNELIAN CRYSTAL, preferring to wear one at all times. Despite being an orange crystal, Suzan remains relatively unaffected by its influences, a testament to her own abilities as a witch. Often referred to as the love stone, the carnelian only elevates the irresistible aura that surrounds Suzan at all times. She has an assortment of carnelians at her disposal, each one hidden in a piece of her jewelry. Seeing Suzan carry multiple carnelian crystal is normally a good sign she’s up to something wicked.

         he’d tried, gave it his best effort. actually attempting to lay down, even closing his eyes and trying the best he could to keep himself in this body. to block out the images that instantly filled his consciousness the moment his eyelids dropped. it hadn’t worked.

        a sigh followed him as he sat up, head turning after a hand drags down the length of his face.  “what’s it like to sleep?” he supposes the exhaustion he feels has something to do with the fact that he’s been ignoring his job for weeks now. arguably the longest he’s gone without surrounding himself by the dead and dying. it leaves him ashen and sluggish, intensifies the dark circles that surrounds his eyes. “i’m so tired…”

                A slight wave of confusion came over her, perfectly done eyebrows furrowing a she tried to comprehend what he was trying to do.  ❛  Are sure you’re even able to sleep? You know, being immortal and all.  ❜ She was taken aback by his sickly appearance, concerned for his welfare.

                ❛  It can be peaceful, but that’s assuming you close you’re eyes and dream. NIGHTMARES, however, are an entirely different entity.  ❜ Suzan sympathized with the man, having known exactly what it feels like to go without sleep. Though she didn’t exactly have much experience with putting ancient manifestations of death to bed, she was sure she could give it a try.  ❛  Maybe I could whip something up, just not exactly sure that it’ll work.  ❜

               ❛  Sorry if I’m just a TAD bit worried about casting a spell that could end up with me dead.  ❜  Despite the fact that she had told the circle she could handle it, Suzan was horrified at the thought of anything having to do with the afterlife. She had died once already and had no intention of doing it a second time.  ❛ Also, why do I need to become on of the dead to speak to them.  ❜ The very thought of the dead unsettled her, though she fought to keep her composure.
