Upcoming Zagtoons
I’ve started watching Miraculous Ladybug recently and, since there are so many Zagtoon shows in the works, I thought I could make a post listing all of them.
Power Players - The action comedy series follows Axel, an adventurous boy who transforms into a living action figure, and his unlikely team of toy heroes as they embark on the biggest “small” adventures a kid could ever imagine.
This is one of the two Zag series that’s actually coming out soon, with it coming to Cartoon Network in September. A promo/sizzle reel for the show can be found on YouTube.
Ghostforce - Three high school kids working as a team of superheroes, the Ghostforce, secretly fight against the ghosts that haunt their town in a wacky, comedic fashion! With an inherent desire for troublemaking, the ghosts, which are invisible to the human eye, will use fright as fuel to increase their power and ability to affect the world around them. Our heroes have no choice but to put their daily lives on hold in order to ghost power-up and restore the city to normalcy before the citizens catch on.
This is the other show coming out relatively soon, as Disney has announced at this year’s Annecy Festival that it will premiere on Disney Channel in 2020.
Pixie Girl - A spunky, adventurous pixie and her awestruck human friend explore New York City while battling the tyrannical rule of the city’s evil wytches, who scheme to forever cast away the city’s ties to pixies and the purity of nature. Using magical pixie powers, Pixie Girl must race a ticking clock to thwart the wytches’ evil plots and return to the safety of Central Park before her glow is gone forever. Will special powers, pure intent, and a human partnership be enough to revive the city’s lost ties to nature? We’re betting on it!
The show will take place in the same universe as Miraculous and Ghostforce, with it being more closely tied to Ghostforce out of the two due to them taking place in the same city. There will also be a “forbidden love” between Pixie Girl and her friend.
Miss Rose - Out of all the shows, both this one and Tales of Feryon have the least known about their plot. What is known is that Miss Rose and her unnamed partner are a sister team of magical spies that operate in London who have some sort fusion technique. Also, Jeremy Zag has taken inspiration for the series from James Bond and the girls keep switching suits for some reason.
SuperStar - Extremely talented musicians, singers, dancers, and actors have gone through an extensive auditioning process to attend the prestigious Hollywood School of the Arts (HSA) in Hollywood, California. Not only are they here to further their respective artistic careers, but also to compete for a spot in a worldwide concert, towards the goal of achieving ultimate fame and unlocking their full potential.
There will be one song in each episode and is so far the only show to be part of the Zag Power Princess brand.
Tales of Feryon - Even less is known about the plot of this show than Miss Rose. The show will allegedly combine superheroes and fairy tales, which is supported by the series’s description on the old Zagtoon website: “Once upon heroes…”. Jeremy Zag has also referred to the heroine as “the ancestor of superheroes” on his Instagram.
Gayajin - With the threat of destruction at the hands of an extraterrestrial villain, the planet reaches out to two young kids, offering them powers of the earth with which to fight back. Assuming total control of both creatures and flora/fauna, with the weight of the world in tow, proves to be quite a heavy load… but also comes with copious amounts of kick-earth fun and adventure!
Gayajin hasn’t been featured in the last few pieces of artwork featuring Zag Heroez shows, however, neither has Zak Storm, Power Players, or Ghostforce, all of which are shows that either have already released or will come out soon, so it probably isn’t something to worry about.

UPDATE: Ghostforce teenagers age REVEALED!
Someone has messaged Timothée Sadowski, a concept artist on ZAG, on Instagram asking him about the ages of the students from Ghostforce and it’s revealed that the teenagers are 12 and 13 with Andy being the oldest. He mentioned this to me in a comment on one of my YouTube videos, but I initially didn’t believe him. Luckily, he sends me the screenshot of the message to my email which basically confirm this.
With that in mind, the age reveal means that the teenagers we see in Ghostforce are actually in middle school and not high school. They’re likely in either 7th grade or 8th grade. While there isn’t any confirmation yet that Andy and Liv are twins, I have a theory that Andy being the oldest implied that he was forced to repeat a grade and in the same class as his sister based on how Mike commented in “Bananice” that he’s hoping that Andy “could finally be in the path to [his] success”. Thank you, prayer 13 on YouTube for the source!
UPDATE: Recently prayer 13 asked Sadowski about the ages of the characters again. He revealed that Andy is indeed 13 and actually repeats a year. He also reveals that Mike is 11 and Liv is 12. Mike is already confirmed to be the youngest of the class since he skipped a grade which was already confirmed in the episode “Mikroo”. As for the Baker siblings, Andy and Liv are confirm to be NOT twins. The reason why Andy is in the same class as Liv is that he has failed his previous school year and is forced to repeat the same year. This… makes a lot of sense when you think about it since Andy is already shown many times to be a very lazy student since he prefers playing sports instead of focusing on his education.

The official Ghostforce website has been finally updated and it has provided a lot of background information about the show that hasn’t been properly addressed yet. Here’s a list of interesting things I noticed while looking through the site.
A ghost’s basic form is actually called “Kawai” mode while its large form is depending on if it’s tamed or wild. If the ghost is tamed, its large form is called “Kaiju” mode; if it is wild, then its large form is called “Booster” mode.
It looks like we’ll be expecting to see more of Gromax, Dragoyle, and Octocat outside of their summoning sequences since they have pretty nice renders on the site.
Mike was a loner at school and has been called “Junior” by everyone in his class before the Bakers arrived in Manhattan. I think this detail would later be explored in the upcoming Origins special.
Professor Pascal “used to teach history before switching to science.” That explains why he presented the mask of Pharases II at the museum and why he taught Egyptian history to his student in “Pharaok”.
Apparently Professor Pascal and Principal Vladovsky don’t get along with each other.
“Rumor has it [Principal Vladovsky]’s allergic to sunlight and garlic, as well as weirdly obsessed with bats. But those are just rumors… Right?”. Gee, foreshadowing much?
Rajat and Charlie are best friends. And not only that, but Rajat has a crush on her!
The reason why the Baker family moved to New York is that Jay and Melissa are producing Solarman, their first blockbuster movie.
Mike’s dad Michael Collins plays basketball for the New York Dragons.
KassKorp Industry, the company owned by Kasenti, sponsors Michael Collins.
The actor playing Solarman is named Sergio. But apparently “Serge Lightman” is the civilian name of his character.
Strangely, the website features Glups in the shape of a heart instead of a blob.
The thing the Ghostforce trio carries to call Miss Jones and to transform into superheroes is called Ghostphone.
The Boocloud is where the ghosts all reside after the Ghostforce captured them. It was originally going to be called the “Ectocloud”, according to an early promotional video.
Miss Jones’ goal is to calm all the wild ghosts by taming them. “She hopes that one day ghosts and humans will live together in harmony… and at that point, she will have become a human again for good”.
SPOILER TERRITORY (READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!!)
The Ghostforce team has been around for many years prior to the events of the series. Liv and Andy both heard of the team when they were little before becoming members themselves.
The original Ghostforce was actually a duo: Miss Jones and someone named Carpenter.
Liv becoming a member of the Ghostforce is her “wildest dream come true”.
Charlie is investigating the mystery behind the original Ghostforce duo.
Glowboo’s AI prototype was created by Miss Jones’ “lost love one”. Perhaps her “lost love one” is Carpenter?
Glowboo has a ghost of his own who is fueling Booenergy to his suit. However, the website mentioned that this ghost’s “name [is] not determined yet".
Glups has been living with Miss Jones after “she found [him on] the same day Carpenter vanished”.
Miss Jones was a member of the Ghostforce duo prior to the events of the series. But after her run-in with Kasenti, she can no longer go out to capture ghosts because “not only has she lost her partner [Carpenter, but] she has also been disabled”. While it didn’t specifically state, I think the aforementioned incident with Kasenti has caused Miss Jones to fuse with a ghost since “her ghost hand has the power of the chaos-type ghost she touched or all powers”.
The unnamed chaos-type ghost can transform things whenever Miss Jones touches it with her affected hand. For example, changing a phone into an alarm clock. It is also mentioned that the chaos ghost transformed Miss Jones’ “arm, part of her body, and also part of her brain”. This caused Miss Jones to have random outbursts and/or mood swings when she speaks.
Miss Jones’ current mission is to “find the ghost with multiple powers that captured Carpenter and a way to become 100% human again”.
Miss Jones relies on Boo Energy in her daily life to deal with her handicap.
The main trio reminds Miss Jones a lot about her time as a superhero. “Liv reminds Ms. Jones of the young girl she once was. Mike reminds her of the pint-sized scientist she was at his age. As for Andy, he’s as much of a daredevil as Carpenter was”.

According to On Scene Adventures, Zag is preparing for his new animated action movie 'What's My Name?' alongside Jean-Claude Van Damme.
All we have so far is the synopsis: "When a man awakens from a coma, he must rebuild his sense of identity and meaning by going hand-to-hand with iconic adversaries from his career, culminating in one final showdown."

GHOSTFORCE OPINION AND RECOMMENDATION (series necessary to watch to better understand MLB)
Given that there will clearly be a crossover with Ghostforce, I was forced to watch it, in 3 days I did a marathon and binge-watched everything about the series hahahahaha
what is it about? : there are 3 boys who must capture ghosts in capsules using superpowers, ghosts that appear out of nowhere and cause chaos, they have the help of miss jones, a half-human, half-ghost scientist who studies ghosts and a robot called glowboo, with the power to illuminate.
There are 2 seasons: the 1st season has 52 episodes and the 2nd also has 52, but the latter is still broadcast, each episode lasts approximately 12 minutes, as for movies, there are none so far, but there are 2 specials, one for Halloween and one for Christmas, both lasting approximately 21 minutes.
how is it? My criticism and opinion: The truth is that it is a very good series, I really like the idea of fighting ghosts in the Ghostbuster style, and I also think that the concept of light and dark is very good, the characters are good, and well, One thing that I do like is how they leave the villain in the veil of mystery (something that MLB does not do) and also how the relationship between man and woman is carried out in the dynamics of battles, you know we are in the era where the woman has to being perfect and the trash man, but here this is well balanced and everyone contributes something important, which is appreciated, what I do think can play in a negative way is that they are very long seasons and even though the episodes are short, sometimes It is hard to see, because sometimes the dynamics are similar, (a bit like what happened in MLB) but of course, it is necessary to see because they are presentations of characters.
For me, the best have been the specials, especially the Halloween one, which undoubtedly best captures the essence of this series, and what its concept is, these are my favorites.
As for the animation and soundtrack, the truth is that it is also very good, it is average, a bit childish but not unpleasant to see, where it can best be appreciated is in the spaces, where the conditions are met, the music too It's fine but it often has Miraculous vibes, in fact, there is some recycling, and it will seem like you are watching this series hahaha.
Should we see it? :Yes, but come on, go see it right now!!! not because of how good she is but because of her connection with miraculous LADYBUG.
miraculous and ghostforce occur in the same universe and are connected, but on some amazing levels, there are references everywhere,
so it is logical that there is going to be a crossover, but, as I tell you, as I have watched the series this goes further, I mean the LONDON thing IS JUST THE BEGINNING OF WHAT YOU HAVE PLANNED GUYS!!!! , there are a lot of clues, so to speak, that the series itself leaves to imply how ALL THIS WILL COME TOGETHER more than once, it will be like MARVEL AND DC, so if you are a fan of miraculous ladybug, yes or yes You are going to have to watch this series because in the future everything is going to be connected to each other and you are going to get lost, (TO GIVE YOU AN IDEA, THIS IS GOING TO BE LIKE AVENGERS ENGAME, CLEARLY IF YOU DON'T SEEN CAPTAIN AMERICA, OR IRON MAN OR AVENGERS, YOU ARE NOT GOING TO UNDERSTAND ANYTHING AT ALL) and let's not talk about Zak Storm, this series has a subtle hint of that series, so imagine!!!!! And, this series is long so I recommend that you hurry up, another thing is that as you already know I have said that Miraculous LADYBUG is a puzzle and gives clues to what is going to happen next, right? Well, GHOSTFORCE is also part of that and has helped me better understand MLB, so if you have those types of problems, this series will also help you.
MIRACULER YEARS AGO :"HEY!" YOU HAVE TO WATCH THE PREVIOUS CHAPTER OF MLB, BECAUSE IF NOT YOU WILL NOT UNDERSTAND WHY HE DOES THIS OR THAT." MIRACULER TODAY "YOU HAVE TO WATCH ALL THE SERIES in the ZAG universe BECAUSE IF NOT, YOU WILL NOT UNDERSTAND WHY THIS CHARACTER IS IN THE OTHER HERO'S COUNTRY AND THEY WORK TOGETHER ETC…"
CONCLUSION: YOU HAVE TO CATCH UP WITH ALL THIS, GO SEE IT, YOU WILL ENJOY IT AND YOU WILL BE MORE UP TO DATE WITH THIS WORLD OF HEROES THAT JEREMY IS SETTING UP, I FOR ONE, WHEN I FINISH MY ZAG POSTS, I WILL START MAKING THEORIES OF THE LONDON SPECIAL AND GHOSTFORCE WITH MLB BECAUSE SERIOUSLY I HAVE DISCOVERED MANY THINGS!!!!!
thanks for all the reblogs and likes, we really love it.
Like, reblog and follow me if you liked the content and to see more of them.
See you in future posts
