One-Sided Rival AU Idea 🥊

AU where a younger Senku and Gen audition to get a segment on a TV show, Senku with his science and Gen with his magic. In the end, Senku ends up getting the role because the producers want to make it an educative segment, which is great news because the extra income and materials for his experiments is just what he needs.

The only problem is the interesting and smart kid he meet during the auditions now hates his guts, something he only realizes once they meet each other again years later.

To be fair about Gen’s grudge, Senku does debunk some of his tricks during his act while talking about how he can “beat fantasy with science”, which in turn makes the judges lean in his favor AND against Gen.
