it’s not about god or religion or beliefs, it’s always been about controlling women and women’s bodies. today i’ve woken up with fewer rights than i had last night, than my grandmother and great-grandmother, than guns. guns. in america guns now have more rights than women. i’m so- the rage i feel is so sickening i shouldn’t have to feel this way nor should i have to worry about this. i should be studying for the act, writing my college essay, and enjoying and loving and cherishing the summer before senior year. i should not be mourning what feels like the loss of my own body. i should not have to worry about my own rights as a woman in this day and age in the superpower of a country called america. i should not be comforting my friends and making plans to protest against the supreme court’s ruling this sunday. and fuck the supreme court. you are the most unconstitutional institution in america and the amount of blood on your walls and in your hands is enough to fucking drown in. i hope that you drown in it. i hope that you fucking drown. i did not vote for you, i did not elect you, i did not ask you to interpret the constitution. the majority of americans believe in upholding roe, the majority of americans believe in women having rights. so fuck you for this. this is not a democracy and this is not democratic. this is america turning its women into second class citizens, this is america caring about guns and rapists more than its women, and this is america not giving a shit about what will happen to women as a result.
