Meeting Mr. Andrew Manuse
The inhabitants of these villages and some part of the city itself live in sheer poverty. Primarily consisting of farmers, the population consisted of other workers like carpenters, hawkers, cobblers, blacksmiths and laborers. While their profession itself, prevented them from earning decently, the government was indifferent towards their condition, too. There was no assistance from the government, whatsoever. There was no sanitation facility or proper health care. Also, basic amenities like electricity, water, transportation, etc. were unavailable to them. Local farmers were burdened with heavy taxes. Pathetically, there was no strong representative who would take up their cause and work to upgrade their condition.
Hence, I decided to associate the political parties of the area for this initiative, and if necessary, join them. My endeavors quite fortunately brought me in contact with Mr. Andrew J. Manuse. An excellent person and very compassionate, he is currently running for state representative, New Hampshire Rockingham-05 (Derry). A new-age politician, his approach to the existing problems is very modernistic and professional. He is a Republican, and the party he belongs to aims to eradicate the heavy taxes imposed upon the poor, through cutting down the expenditure.
My endeavors, analyses and surveys impressed a lot of prominent people, among whom Mr. Andrew was also one. We contacted through his website http://www.andrewmanuse.com/ and discussed the existing problems and possible solutions. I had by then, formed several courses and a few solutions to address the problem, and he forwarded it further to the concerned authorities.
Though, making my locality an ideal and prosperous one, is still a long way ahead, we have successfully travelled a great distance on eradicating the problems. Now, apart from cutting taxes and providing basic facilities, we are working towards various development initiatives, for rural areas around New Hampshire.

New Hampshire and its problems
It was quite a new experience for me.  Talking with the locals about their difficulties and trying to find a solution made me realize that I had a lot to do to make the community more civilized and affluent.
Besides learning about different branches of politics, I actively participated in awareness campaigns and student politics. What captivated me, though, was the analysis of political and social situations that helped me identify required necessities and who would be suitable and how should they do it.
The university years, with so much activity, seemingly ended in a jiffy. Now I was faced with the job question. Though I had a lot of options, I decided to visit the length and breadth of my country to get a true idea of the existing social and political situations. And I must admit, I learned a lot of new things and realized that New Hampshire must have its share of problems too. And I was quite right.
After my excursions had ended, I headed to my hometown for a short vacation. I utilized this time to visit the surrounding villages and areas. The situation completely perplexed me. I was shocked as to how I was unaware of this aspect hitherto. While the urban part of New Hampshire was a visual and lifestyle delight, the downtown and surrounding settlements were deprived of even the most basic amenities.

Graduation in Political Science
At the last term of high schooling, I accelerated my efforts to choose a subject I would study in college. However, social sciences have various branches, and I found it difficult to pick up a favourite. However, at that time, the city college was holding the elections for the college president. One day, I got the chance to witness a meeting held by a candidate, who addressed issues like student welfare, educational funding etc. and that instantly got me thinking that politics would be an ideal career choice for me.
Since I had secured good grades in social sciences, civic science, in particular, and politics will offer an excellent chance to serve the society in any way, I decided to opt for a political science degree.
I consulted my parents and teachers, and they were very proud and supportive of my decision. I applied for some of the best colleges in my country and got selected in a very prestigious one, due to my good grades. My parents were extremely proud and my sister (who had just got a job as an assistant professor), threw a party for me. It was one of the happiest moments of my life.
Once in college, practical and projects taught me a great deal more than the books would have, ever. We went to different adjoining suburbs and counties to observe and experience the lack of facilities and other similar problems.

My childhood and love for studying
Though I have spent my childhood here, I never did scan the city and surrounding countryside. Usually, my days consisted of home, school, playgrounds and markets. Since I was not the sporty type, I never went on any hiking trails or vacations with my friends. I was lazy too and preferred staying indoors reading or else doing anything, but outdoor activities. It was only in the evening that my mother, pushed me out to get some exercise and spent some time with friends, that I set foot on the playground and prove myself as a miserable player, every time.
I belonged to a well-off family. My father worked for a construction company, and my mother was a nurse in the city hospital. Me and my sister, Susan, were the only children in the house, and though we were not rich, we were not deprived either, of whatsoever any amenities. Our parents worked hard and always provided whatever we needed or wanted. Growing up in such circumstances, and rarely undertaking outdoor expeditions, I always thought of New Hampshire as always a highly urban and civilized society.
Since I loved to study and was particularly good at social sciences, my teachers soon realized that I had potential for the administrative sector. On the parents-teachers meeting at my high school, my teachers, particularly Mr. Woodley, discussed my future prospects with my parents in detail. My parents told them that they are completely open and will support my career decisions. This cheered me a lot, and I decided that I will surely work hard to achieve my dreams.

New-age politicians
Hi everyone, I am Matthew. I am a 35 years old resident of New Hampshire. I was born here, and now I live with my beautiful wife, Jenna and two adorable children, Hanna and Michael. My parent’s house is just down the street from ours and on Sundays or Saturdays we either head on to their house or they come here for a family brunch or dinner. Sometimes one or two relatives or cousins also join us and then it becomes quite a gala.
I have majored in political science and work as a political analyst. Though my profession these ten long years has taken me to several corners of my country, I am based out of New Hampshire and work from here, only. I am associated with almost all the local politicians and civil officers. During the time of elections, my job is to analyse political data and probabilities and act as a mediator between the voters and the voted.
Initially, it took me about a couple of years to fully understand and become adept at my job. During those initial years I attended various political campaigns around the country. I visited various cities and districts and got to know about several pertaining problems that concerned citizens. Tireless work and regular interactions with them made me realize that the new-age problems are quite similar than those of the past.
