𝜗𝜚 SILLY LIL THINGS TO DO — make shifting more fun

THE HARMONIES — make playlists! one for your s/o, for your friends, for yourself & backstory, or even for a specific scenario you scripted! i love listening to a song for the first time and immediately connecting it to someone/something from my dr.

SMILE 4 THE PICTURE — make pinterest boards! i'm sure lots of you already do this, but you don't realize how there are multiple possibilities! a board of pics you and your s/o or friends would take, food you want to eat, things you wanna buy, or even a specific moment like christmas day or your first date! also pro tip: when making a board about someone, try to include more than just their clothes & face, add pictures that really embody their aura.

WORDS AREN'T ENOUGH — if you're a writer, write! script your scenarios in the most enchanting way possible, describe your loves ones with the most beautiful words you can find. and even if you aren't a writer, i still think this can be a lot of fun, i mean, who doesn't like to yap about their dr?

BLESSED VIEWS — make and/or watch edits! if you're a video editor (i am jealous) you can make edits of your s/o or friends to a fitting song, or even better, if you're skilled and creative enough, you can edit yourself with them. this also goes to photo editors, if you have the right resources, you can definitely edit a picture of you with whoever you desire or change some visual aspects. also, i'm sure most of us already do this but it's still worth mentioning, watch edits & clips! recently i found an account that posts that posts that most scrumptious and FITTING edits for my vampire dr and have not stopped replaying it!

LIKE N FOLLOW — make social media profiles! this mostly applies to those shifting to realities where technology exists, there are many apps that can help you create fake profiles and posts, or you can just manually edit a screenshot of an account. this also goes to make up text convos!! between you and whoever you want or even between other people! this can be for a scripted scenario or just silly little mundane texts you'd receive from someone on a daily basis.

LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION — act as your "drself" (i hate using that term but u get it.) if you're only planning to shift later that day, while you're here, act as if you have shifted already! do your hair and make up how you would in the other reality, if for some reason you act differently there, copy it here! maybe act out how you would in a specific situation?

VOGUE'S MUSE — answer interviews! mostly for fame dr shifters, but even if you're not a famous person, let's say this is a hypothetical situation where you get to reply to all these questions about yourself from any of your other realities. search for popular interviews like the ones you'd find on vogue, buzzfeed, elle, or even search for fake interviews on shifting internet spaces!

QUESTION MARK — take personality quizes! this is so much fun, you can take them as yourself from another reality or as someone else from there and then imagine how you guys would react to each other's results!

𝜗𝜚 humanizing your dr — and why you don't necessarily need it.

.𖥔 ݁ ˖⌗﹒ there are countless posts that will help you "humanize your dr", in other words, make it seem a bit more "realistic". now, although i am not against it, i mean sure, it's great for visualization, i'm not entirely for it, because it's following the premise that shifting requires a detailed process, requires specific steps in order to do it, and that's just not true.

i have seen many shifting content creators (specially on shifttok (get out of there) (seriously)) claiming that the reason why you haven't shifted yet is because you put your dr on a pedestal, then they proceed to "humanize it", listing a bunch of struggles you might encounter when you shift.

now, let me make clear the bottom line of this post: the way you perceive your desired reality does NOT influence whether you shift or not.

when someone claims that the way you perceive your dr is wrong, or that is something that needs to be changed/improved, they are reinforcing the idea that in order to shift you NEED something, you need to do certain things. (and thats WRONGGGGGHSJSHQGGAG)

shifting is simply putting your perception of this reality to another. that's it. that is the definition of shifting, that is the only thing you actually need to do.

as long as you keep endlessly looking for ways to try and stop putting your dr on a pedestal, the more you will keep persisting on the idea that something NEEDS to be changed, that shifting is this whole difficult process. and if you're familiar with the law of assumption, you already know where this is going, persisting = manifesting it into reality. and just like that, you end up in this loop of searching for something that doesn't exist in the first place.

also, this goes hand in hand with the fact that you don't necessarily need visualization. i do believe it's a great tool to shift, at least for me, but not a must due to the same reason i already listed above. so if you're not great with it, stop stressing about it.

so, it genuinely doesn't matter if you put your dr on a pedestal or if you don't even care for it as much — you are already there, the only thing you'll do is perceive it.

"alright izzy, nice! but how do i change my perception to there, then?"

ehhh, it's not really changing, it's more about recognizing it, because, like i said, you are already there. once again, nothing NEEDS to be CHANGED, stop chasing that "something", stop living in that illusion.

as to how you actually recognize it, i can't really tell you something concrete because it's different for everyone, and i'm sure you've seen thousands of methods, some may work better for you then others. what you can do is implement this new info into your attempts. (still, i can make a post explaining what works for me and why it does)

in other words: put your dr on a pedestal all you want, it's okay. WHY would that even stop you lmao?

also, lil side note: but i HATEEE when people say "humanizing your dr" (as in telling you that's what's stopping you from shifting) and then list a bunch of stuff like "oh you'll stub your toe!" "you'll get sick" "you'll break your nail!" mf if i shift to a reality where that doesn't happen simply because i am a god, then what. THEN WHAT. not everything needs to be realistic or logical. gosh. (it's fine if u do it just for visualizing tho)

Okay, so this post was requested by @madebynarii, and it is based on Ariana Grande's song, "Just Like Magic."

For starters, I am completely and utterly obsessed with Ariana Grande and I am over the moon that I get to do a post inspired by a song off her BEST album, Positions!

Positions may you always be famous!

If you didn't know, Ariana Grande is thee GODDESS of manifestation. She went from being a little girl singing the songs from Wicked to playing her dream role in the movie.

So, if there is anyone who knows about manifesting, it's her! She practically manifested her entire life, and she helps me manifest, too.

So if you haven't heard the song before (which is a crime against humanity, by the way),

Today, we will go over some of the lyrics and learn how to manifest just like magic!

Wake up in my bed I just wanna have a good day Think it in my head Then it happens how it should, ayy

So in these lines, Ariana is saying how she wants to have a good day, and to have that good day, all she has to do is THINK about it!

Now, let's replace think with assume just to involve the law of assumption. Here Ariana shows how easy the law is, if you ASSUME something to be true then it WILL be true.

Good karma, my aesthetic (aesthetic) Keep my conscience clear, that's why I'm so magnetic Manifest it (yeah), I finessed it (I finessed it) Take my pen and write some love letters to heaven

Now, look at the pre-chorus; she keeps her conscience clear, and that's why she's so magnetic. I interpret this as more of a law of attraction line but I'm going to make do regardless.

Here, I'm going to get more nondualistic, everything is pure consciousness. YOU are pure consciousness, I like to think of that line as keeping the physical things at bay; so your thoughts.

And by keeping the physical at bay that will allow you to "manifest" anything that you want.

Manifest it, I finnessed it! That line is pretty self-explanatory; by letting go of the physical and assuming, she essentially manifested her desires.

Now the next line about her using her pen to write some love letters to heaven is also just a way of her saying that she manifested something!

However, let's say that she is scripting; not only is scripting something that shifters do. Scripting is also a loa method, by writing down your desires and assuming that you have already received them, that is a way of manifesting your desires.

So Ariana is scripting her desires!

This is the chorus; it's pretty simple. She is saying her manifestation skills are easy. Just like a snap, it's fast and easy!

And take it from Ariana: the way you manifest is just like magic!

Ariana says that she is attractive and she gets everything that she wants because of that!

Now, let's change "I get everything I want cause I attract it." To I get everything I want because I ASSUME it.

Okay, the next and final line I want to discuss is, "Redesign your brain, we gon' make some new habits."

Now let me tell y'all something: I HAD to redesign my brain. The nonsense I filled my brain up with over the years is just plain ridiculous. I

want you guys to take a break, stop overconsuming, and trust yourselves. You do not need to listen to forty different people a day telling you what you already know.

What helped me "redesign my brain," as Ariana would say, is to STOP! You already know how to manifest!

Assume you have it! Boom, that's it! I don't care what no one else has to say!

That is the basis of the law, I don't do any methods; I don't do any of that. I assume, and I BE!

But then again, that is what I DID! What worked for me may not work for you! If you need to reprogram your mind, so be it; if you need to take a break, take a break!

DO whatever you need to and WANT to do! Yes, I am here to help others along with document my own experiences but I am NOT a template.

⊹ let's start with the basics, the star of the show — me! louise virelli-sanguis, daughter of lord lucien & lady seraphina of valora. my enchanting, almost hypnotic beauty is enough to strike through anyone's heart. now, talking about the actual face claim (@/lavbackpack on ig), she was the perfect choice! we are actually quite similar in terms of our features, so i felt like it wasn't too big of a change.

⊹ ultimate heartthrob, park sunghoon, the famous figure skater of the human kind. we met at a festival held in virethia, my birthplace, where the bond and harmony between vampires and humans is celebrated. he was wandering around, presumably lost, until he stumbled into me. love at first sight never felt so real, so right.

O3. poki 𝜗𝜚˚⋆

⊹ my child. pets are common between vampires, such as black cats, owls or even bats. most black cats living in virethia are the ones neglected in the human world, that's why they're most of the feline population here. poki, the one gifted to me around 150 years ago, has been my trusted companion ever since.

O4. closet 𝜗𝜚˚⋆

⊹ obviously, i am entitled to the best (and biggest) selection of clothes. cutesy outfits in dark color schemes for casual outings, grand show-stopper beautiful dresses for important ceremonies or parties, silk pajamas for a feather-like sleep and statement accessories for some spice.

O5. weapons 𝜗𝜚˚⋆

⊹ some of the vampiric population volunteers to go on certain missions on the other side to ensure virethia's safety (and wealth). due majorly to boredom and lots of convincing from my friends, i decided to join this group of people. obviously, i don't own all of those weapons — as i prefer scythes and sickles — but the pictures are an illustration of the most commonly used ones by my teammates.

O6. belongings 𝜗𝜚˚⋆

⊹ things one would definitely find if spent enough time rummaging through my bedroom. lots of make up, books and my diary, fuzzy stuffed animals, accessories, candles, perfume bottles... all things you'd expect a cliché teenage girl to own.

⊹ valora, the land ruled by house sanguis is, for me, synonym of home. the most populated town, city of innovation, where the founders of virethia once resided. it's a gleaming city, really, bustling markets, massive factories, the oldest of monumental structures and wonderful workshops where revolutionary ideas come to life. think something close to... dark london streets.

O8. elysium 𝜗𝜚˚⋆

⊹ the true beauty of virethia is the foundation of elysium, land ruled by house caelum. elymians are known to value art in its every form, such as painting, sculpting, philosophy, etc. ethereal gardens, opulent palaces, art galleries and libraries here and there, all places any artist could gather inspiration from. very similar to the streets of rome.

O9. noctis 𝜗𝜚˚⋆

⊹ the eery land of noctis, ruled by house mortis, also popularly known as "the scary ones". full of secrecy involving everything about dark and sometimes forbidden magic, it's landscapes are the closest to what humans mostly assume as the place vampires would live — towering black spires, haunted forests and shadowy lakes accentuated with a thick and misty atmosphere.
