I know we were young but it still hurt, we took our hearts and buried them in dirt. But you got yours back. Mine is still the same, just now its in a box and locked away. It hurt me to see how you have moved on, you made it look easy, but I know that I'm wrong. I know you hurt like I did too, you moved on because I made it easy for you. I will never forget meeting you, the love that we shared and what we went through, you showed me love as I know it today, you showed me love in a different way.

The Beauty in Knowing

There's so much beauty in knowing someone. Like really knowing someone. It's not very often nowadays that we get the chance to understand somebody down to their core. Everybody is so scared, so armoured, so hurt. They have so many build up walls. So do I. Maybe that makes truly knowing someone that little bit more beautiful.

To me there's something so pure in knowing what makes someone smile. Knowing how someone likes their eggs, how they tie their laces, their ambitions and their fears... The things that make them feel alive. The secrets that one soul can have and the flaws that they hide, you learn to understand someone and you learn to show them the beauty in every flaw that they hide.

When you truly know someone, you get to live everything that others don't see.
