Projects for this weekend

1. Do dailies on Deirdra so I can get all her augments

Type up little bios for all my G1 characters.

When I was writing out Ketthan’s and Rin’s backstories, I was researching what planets they may have come from. Since I didn’t find the planet that particularly resonated with me or them, I said “fuck it” and made up my own.

Oh man Veena is originally Veena Hawke from Dragon Age. >_> She's my baby. Umm...

She's an angry apostate who totally supported Anders and was only angry that he didn't let her help him. She was convinced Elthina was evil and never recruited Fenris because if you have a problem with Mages she doesn't want anything to do with you. She loves her little Grey Warden brother like whoa and has a puppy and stuff. :3

IDK. She's really rebellious and uses force magic so my roomie joked she was a Jedi even before I really knew much about Star Wars... then I discovered Star Wars and SWTOR and a Sith just fit her passionate, furious personality so well! except it's weird because in Thedas she's been brought up to think of herself as abomination and her magic as something horrible, where in the Star Wars galaxy her force powers make her one of the elite and better than you so a lot of her anger is... kinda random? Though I suppose having everyone in your family killed off/sold into slavery due to Jedi and Revanite ties is enough trauma to cause SWTOR Veena's anger issues.

My warden doesn't really translate, I'm afraid. :/

Deirdra doesn't fit into Dragon Age either. I can't think of any good mirror to Mandalorian culture in DA-- everyone is too rigid and focused on religion and magic and darkspawn. 

Perthe also doesn't fit, though I can maybe see her as a spoiled Tevinter mage who has no idea how the rest of the world works until she witnesses something horrible like a slave child being killed for entertainment and she runs away and becomes an apostate who tries to do good for others but still has dark and selfish urges. IDK.

All right, so with all the Dragon Age hype as of this very moment, now I wanna hear about the Dragon Age versions of everyone’s SWTOR characters GO GO GO

OTP HEADCANON FOR VEENA/PIERCE

Oh geez!

See I've always shipped Veena/Pelcham and Tahrin/Pierce. So this is difficult.

But they make fun of people together. Mostly other Sith and Imperial Military like Quinn. They sit there and mock their accents or their clothing or the things they say for hours. But man, they're bros.

"She took up with a MANDALORIAN, can you believe it?"  is actual quote from an npc in the game, but Veena would totally turn to Pierce and repeat it and be like "I should tell them my husband is a Mandalorian, what do you think would happen?" and Pierce would just laugh. They both make fun of the very rich and the very stuck up together, and oh lord I feel bad for Quinn. >D

It strikes me that I cannot play this since most of you don't know my characters well enough. I should fix that?

Problem is I'm kinda stuck doing most of it by myself, and that leaves me with very little motivation because I love doing things with other people.

My main RP character? I honestly don't know. O_O I suppose Deirdra for Empire and Perthe for Republic, though I think Malori gets a little more rp screen time than Deirdra just because Deirdra is rarely without Laisrean and Shiny doesn't really do in game rp. So Malori and Perthe? 

The character you pay the most attention to, I suppose. Your default? The one with the most advanced story/plot who is practically an entity of their own living inside your head, only not. (But totally. ;) )

Deirdra actually works best in fic, and so does Veena. Their stories are very intertwined with my room mate Shiny's characters, and she doesn't really rp, so it makes it a little awkward. Also, a lot of my Gen 2 characters, because I have a hard time matching up timelines with other people-- like for Sesily and Zavah are not Imperial Agents because they come after certain events in the IA's storyline that affect Imperial Intelligence in a big way, but for other people's rp, those events may not have happened at all. Jonaz I have no ideas for fic, same with Chevonne and Perthe. 

It really depends on what kind of event it is. Malori tends to go to parties because she loves them. There was an event that was mostly a trooper event so I would have taken Chevonne if I had known anything about her story and her squad at the time... ect. If it's not a themed event, I just pick a random character, but I feel most comfortable with Malori and Perthe.

Probably Jonaz. He feels like he'd be a ton of fun to play, but I doubt his flirty, slutty, goofy personality would really go over well with others/be read the way I mean it. There's so many creepers out there, and while Jonaz isn't MEANT to be one, I'm worried with his flirting and goofing around he'd be read as one.

So I made Aleyri and Vetoni. They're actually fraternal twins, the children of my smuggler Jonaz and a certain Mandalorian merc who is also a Zabrak. >_> <_< (we will just never SAY who she is ICly, MKAY?)

I couldn't decide whose skin color would be dominant so I made one of each and they both have a bit of red and a big of brown to their skin tone, more than I could actually do. Yes, they have hair even though both parents are bald. No, I don't care that it doesn't make sense. 

Aleyri is a Knight, going to be a guardian and Vetoni is a consular, going to be a sage.

I debating keeping this blog or just saying fuck it and posting about swtor and my characters and GW2 and my characters and soon Rift and my characters on there too on my regular tumblr. I don't think I update this one frequently enough, and I always forget to switch to it to reblog things or take part in conversations so it just seems like I'm over complicating things for people who want to follow me just for my mmo stuff rather than my misc stuff like on my tumblr. I just feel bad spamming you guys with animals and social justice (though honestly I think I'm much more laid back about that than most of tumblr and honestly don't agree with most of tumblr on a lot of subjects, so I don't post a lot of it, but there is SOME.) and Dragon Age when you're not interested in that. IDK.

Should I keep trying to use this blog for swtor stuff or just give up and use my regular blog?

So I didn't go to the rp event tonight because I have school tomorrow morning

And then I tried to go to bed and couldn't because I couldn't stop thinking about 1. How homesick I am for my family (I got to spend a weekend with them and it was wonderful but it also broke my heart because it went by SO FUCKING FAST) and 2. how much I'd like to have friends to talk to online again. 

So that was... a chance to interact with people that I completely wasted for no reason.

Poeryth is now Perthe. She's still largely the same character-- a "redeemed" Sith-turned-Jedi who still struggles with the dark side and is more grey than anything else in spite of herself-- she just has a different name to differentiate her from my wow death knight character.

I prefer not to recycle characters, though I tend to follow the trend of reusing names. But then the characters turn into completely different people who are nothing alike and then it doesn't make sense. I could have saved myself about $10 if I hadn't reused Poe's name.

Oh well.
