Everyday, Black women and girls are missing and either never found or found dead.
Say HER name.
15 year old JOY LYNN. She is missing from Dallas, Texas. The police aren't doing anything, so please, if you suspect anything, found a clue, or whatever, come forward.

Michaelá is a 24 y/o Black woman who was physically assaulted at a nail salon in Michigan and was afterwards threatened online by the same workers who shared her personal information and created a false story for others to attack her. Police did nothing and even denied her to press charges against her attackers. This is her GoFundMe.
More information can be found on her original IG post. She has also made other posts updating her situation as time passes. Below are pictures of the place of the attack and some of the online threats she's been getting.

i’ll just keep this short since my other posts are getting incredibly long: i’m a black trans person, i’m on leave from my job (an essential worker) due to suspected covid and lung infections. i can’t return for at least 2 weeks, likely more. i need 766 for rent by next tuesday to move into my new place. i currently have 226 dollars. my school has denied all emergency assistance applications and one i have applied to may not get back to me for 3 weeks and this is urgent. i also need funds for staying at the hotel i am currently at because my school also kicked me out of the dorms in early august.

ok im kind of a sm*ll account and itd be a miracle if anyone sees this, but im a black bi woman who ran away from a physically abusive home situation last summer, and ive been living in various temporary accomodations since then. ive been working on and off while studying this year, as the majority of my focus has been on getting good enough grades to transfer to a better school (long story but the abuse is the reason i didn't get into a good school in the first place.) so i havent worked this year as regularly as i did throughout my teenage years, supporting myself constantly because abusive parents don't believe in providing for sixteen year olds lol.
now that i have managed to get into a better school, my focus has shifted to finding permanent housing where i feel safe and i can start to settle and move on with my life. ive found a place with a bw roommate but i don't have the funds for a deposit and first months rent, its £1900 in total. ive been working on it in other ways, like selling things and doing odd jobs, but now i have a week left and i thought it couldnt hurt to also drop my info here.
if anyone could help youd be literally saving my life, even just a reblog would help. and i can provide proof of my situation, if youd like to inbox me. in advance thankyouuu 🖤

with everything going on in regards to the group of trans women who were recently attacked, it's not enough to post "black trans lives matter" and leave it at that. if you truly believe that, you need to be ensuring their survival by donating to and supporting black trans women directly.
black trans women please feel free to add your links below as well!

Hello everyone, I’m a 21 year old black woman, who has a white boyfriend. Both of our families have disowned us, and made us homeless because of our relationship. Everything was bad at first, but then we both got good jobs.
But here’s where our lives turned for the worst. My boyfriend was working in a concrete plant, which you can inhale silica. He got sick with two kidney stones (that he hasn’t passed), and two bumps on his lungs. So his job fired him. I lost my job when the virus hit really badly and there was a case of covid-19 at my job so I quit.
We lost our home, and we need help again. If anyone cares, or has a heart please help us. I’m so tired of being in this situation, I just want to have a home. I don’t have any friends I can stay with or anything, and neither does him, and we only have a short amount of time before we are completely on the streets. Please help us. ♥️ If you are more comfortable with cash app, or venmo, here’s my accounts.
Cash app: $BoobyPaint
Venmo: @joshandchanelle
Thank you for reading my post. Please reblog if you can’t donate, I really need help getting the word out there. ♥️🙏

no more talking about how rick is better than jkr or whatever tf you white bloggers wanna say in support of him
let's talk about how y'all made it impossible for poc to feel comfortable in fandom. how i have literal anxiety attacks every time a post of mine blows up bc i know someone is about to say stupid shit!!
let's talk about how y'all want to ship girls of color with people older than them consistently despite the sexualization we go through!!! y'all wanna defend shipping fr*zel as if hazel isn't 13 and as if black and indigenous girls are more likely to be murdered, assaulted and r*ped solely bc of their ancestry and skin tone.
y'all are so quick to explain what racism is to me as if I haven't spent my entire life living as a black girl, being called "fast" and "inappropriate" just bc my tits and my ass grew faster than the rest of my friends. as if my mom doesn't worry that every time i walk out the door, that i might not come home and she'll have to go down to the police station to give a statement or to the morgue to identify my body.
i am so tired of this. you say that you stand with us, and that you care for us, but you don't. you only care when it benefits you. I'm done at this point.

the way this fandom operates is EXTREMELY frustrating. how dare any of you get disappointed at how people reacted to rick's bullshit from today? shut up!!! you are just as bad as him!!! fans of color are allowed to be angry!!! if you care more about a stupid little show and "having fun in fandom" over racism, then you need to grow up. these are the EXACT same people who, when the problems get brought to light, will SPRINT to the ask box of a fan of color and ask questions like they're google. You Have No Right To Complain About This Justified Anger. shut up and maybe support your fellow fans who are hurting instead of getting angry about the wrong thing

As a muslim Iraqi American with a significant tumblr following, I feel as though I should let it be known exactly where I stand when it comes to Riordan’s statement about Samirah. I have copied and pasted it down below and my reaction to it will be written down below. This will be the first time I have read it. If you want to engage with me or tell me that I’m wrong, I expect you to be a muslim, hijabi, Iraqi American, and from Baghdad. If you are not, I suggest you sit down and keep quiet because you are not the authority on the way I should be represented.

In light of what Rick said on Twitter about Piper wearing feathers in her hair, if you support or condone his actions unfollow and block me. There is absolutely no excuse for writing Piper in such a racist manner and him claiming that he knows better than native fans because he read a book written by a white man is one of the most ignorant things I’ve ever seen him say.
