Nobody cares that you multi-ship, we care when:

You use Sam as a placeholder for Steve (or Bucky)

You use Sam as a babysitter/blow-up doll/emotional support negro

You reinforce antiBlack stereotypes when writing Sam

You’re racist af in our faces and have the audacity to expect us not to mention it

Anyway.

Categorizing someone calling out racism as a “ship war” is absolutely insane behavior. Idc what you think you’re doing, it’s so amazingly insensitive to Sam fans, particularly Black Sam fans, that I can hardly believe y’all are typing this stuff out with a straight face. Except, I do believe it, because I’ve been in fandom spaces for 20+ years. People are always going to be proudly antiBlack. That train is never late.
