This past few days have been the worst, and I only had one nice moment out of them. I just feel so under appreciated and lonely I’m sick of it. I’m sick of begging to be held. I don’t feel like I’m valued, like it’s all about them and not about us, or even me. We aren’t building. Why does no one want to build? It’s always their career, their needs. What about my needs? I feel so cold now, and I just want to end it all. I keep SH-ing myself and I haven’t told anyone because it’s invisible. God I wish I just wouldn’t wake up.

Chapter Two:
She sat for a moment, and this surge of feeling bubbles up to the surface as she grabbed her saber and ran out of the ship, following her sense to find them.
Arvanna was making her way the path that she felt Maul’s energy. And found the Seventh Sister dead, her saber laying next to her. She picks it up and puts it next to her lightsaber. She continues the way she’s going, fast.
Kanan looked over he saw her standing there.
“Arvanna what are you doing?! I told you to stay on the ship!” Kanan said.
“Wha…?” Maul said as he and everyone else turned to see her standing there.
“Arvanna no!” Ashoka yelled.
Maul stared at her, in disbelief.
“Maul,” she softly said as she stared back.
The Inquisitors looked at her surprised.
“It’s the Night Walker!” the Fifth Brother said.
“I didn’t think she really existed,” the Eighth Brother said.
But everything around Maul and Arvanna just froze for them. They had locked eyes. His amber stare straight to her blue eyes. And just like that… she felt like she was home again.
“Arvanna,” he softly spoke her name.
Everyone continued their saber battles until Maul kills the Inquisitors. Kanan asks where Ezra is, and Maul tells him that he is his apprentice, and went to activate the temple. They continue to fight, but the moment the temple is activated, Arvanna is hit with a weird feeling and falls to her knees, hands on the scorched ground.
“What is happening to me? I.. I… Maul…” she says weakly as her eyes gloss over red completely.
She is reaching out towards Maul as everything around her goes red.
“I… I can’t breathe…” she says and then passes out on the ground.
The last thing she sees is Maul looking at her, and she heard him call her name again.

I don’t know why, but I feel some sort of way ever since I saw Thrawn. And honestly, he’s a peaceful presence. And calming. He’s so inspiring! 🥺❤️

Chapter Eleven:
“That was an… interesting experience,” he said, head still in a buzz.
She sat in her usual chair and wiped the blood from her mouth. Her whole body seemed to calm down now instead of react how it used to. Maybe it was a result of when she was at Malachor. Or maybe it was something about him.
“I… I think I need to go to my quarters,” he said, surprised at how drained he felt.
“That’s a normal feeling. I would like to escort you, to make sure you get there safely,” she replied.
He stood and was a little uneasy, but waited until his equilibrium balanced out.
“Very well, I do appreciate that,” he said to her.
“Wait,” she said and walked up to him.
He was curious was she was doing now. She licked her sleeve where she wiped her own blood, and brought it up to his neck, removing the blood that was there. There were small puncture marks left behind under the blood.
“There, that’s better,” she said.
They left his office, him leading the way. She made sure he was alright as he walked. He held his composure well, but started to feel weak again. They were thankfully close to his quarters. Funny thing was, his quarters were only a corridor away from hers. Once he reached them and went inside, she followed to make sure he didn’t fall and knock himself unconscious. Once inside, she saw he had similar artwork from his office in his quarters.
He went and sat on his bed, feeling light-headed again. She looked at him and he had his head in his hands.
“A quick nap should fix how you’re feeling,” she commented.
She sat in a chair close by and watched him a moment.
“So, why did you choose yourself over Price?” she asked. “You could have had anyone be my donor. Why you?”
He took a moment until the dizziness passed then looked at her and realized… her eyes were blue again.
“I was intrigued,” was all he managed to tell her.
“So, I don’t think Dooku ever reported it, but there’s a lot that goes into feedings. Especially when you leave the donor alive. Not only am I able to see your thoughts and feel your feelings, I have seen your past. I’ve seen the essence of all you are.”
He leans back into his bed, looking up at the ceiling.
“No, that was not in the report.”
Words were getting hard for him, suddenly he desperately wanted to sleep. He tried to push through the fog, but he was barely there.
She could sense how curious he was by nature, and how intrigued he was over her words. She gets up and walks over to him, and sits next to him on his bed a moment.
“We are now linked more than you realize. I will tell you more after you sleep.”
But at her final words, he has fallen asleep. She hears his mind silence and feels the calm of slumber wash over him. Arvanna decides to move him gently so that he is laying properly in his bed, head on the pillow as she covers him slightly. She wondered about going to her own quarters, but as tradition was she always stayed by her donor. So she took off her boots and laid on the other side of his bed, not as nervous as she used to be in the beginning of all this. As she lay there, she looked at him. He looked so peaceful in his sleep. She took a moment and recalled Dooku’s face after the first feeding, and Rex’s. Thrawn seemed so calm compared to them. So controlled. She closed her own eyes and quickly sleep took her.
***Dream***
When she opened her eyes, she was back on Korriban. But the blood wasn’t there this time. It looked like the first time she had been there, untouched. As she began walking up the path, she saw a figure at the top. She wondered who it was this time. And as she got closer, she saw the blue skin.
“Thrawn?” she called out.
The man turned, and to her surprise it indeed was Thrawn.
“What are you doing here?” she asked, confused.
Never before had a donor been here with her in person. Well, minus Rex in real life.
“I am not sure where I am. Where is this place?” he asked her.
“This is Korriban, resting place of many once powerful Sith. Including my father.”
“Your father?” he repeated curiously.
“This is his temple. The temple of Marka Ragnos.”
“Have you been here before?” he asked as she got to the top with him and they stood at the entrance.
“Many times, both in this plane and in real life. What I’m wondering is why are you here. Never before has one I’ve fed off been here in this plane.”
They both hear a rumble from inside, almost like a soft growl. Arvanna instinctively put herself in front of Thrawn, to protect him.
“Can we go inside?” he asked her. “I’ve never been to such a place.”
She could sense his curiosity at the place, intrigued by how ancient it was.
“Stay behind me,” she instructed.
He nods and they walk forward inside. As they enter the chamber, she can sense his awe at the structure of the place. Based off his art and artifacts around his office and room, he liked to appreciate and collect things. They continued through the whole temple, and finally came to her fathers room.
“This place is beautiful,” Thrawn says, admiring all the work put into the temple.
“Thank you, blue one,” a voice called out in the main chamber they stepped into.
Thrawn looked around surprised.
“There’s someone else here?” he was surprised.
“My father,” she said and he looked at her a little confused.
“But.. isn’t your father—“ he began.
“Dead? Long since blue one,” the voice answered. “I’m not exactly dead. You can never truly kill one like me.”
They walked further into the chamber and up to the statue of her father. Thrawn touched the base of it, admiring the craftsmanship and how well the stone has held up to ages of being here.
Arvanna could sense a figure appear behind them, so she moved around Thrawn to face it.
It was her father, the same semi-solid ghostly apparition she saw recently in her sleep. Thrawn turns and see’s him as well.
“Are you Marka Ragnos?” he asked.
“Indeed, the one and only,” Ragnos held out his arms in pride, for him to get a full look at him.
“Father, why is he here?” Arvanna asked and nodded to Thrawn.
“His mind chose to come here of its own accord. Since you are now with a partial link, he can travel where you travel. He is quite powerful, to be able to walk the plane as he does.”
Marka Ragnos walks up to his daughter, then looks down at her since he towers over her with his height. He puts a hand on her shoulder, and gains a sense that her father isn’t going to harm him.
“Who is this?” he asks her.
“I am Grand Admiral Thrawn of the Galactic Empire,” he softly bows, respectfully.
Ragnos pauses a moment and looks the man over, analyzing him. A hum comes from Ragnos and he smirks.
“Mitth'raw'nuruodo,” he softly says.
Thrawn is shocked to his core.
“How do you know that?”
“That is your true name in your native tongue correct?” Ragnos asks.
“It is,” Thrawn says softly. “But how did you know that?”
“I’m a Sanguine, we are able to read thoughts and go deeper than any Jedi or Force User ever can.”
Ragnos turns to his daughter again.
“He is strong, your new lover?” he asked.
She blushed profusely and slapped her fathers arm softly.
“Don’t say that! It’s not like that..” she muttered.
“Give it time,” her father says and she glared at him with embarrassment. “Live donors always become our partners.”
Thrawn was intrigued by his words. Partner? Lover?
“Just as Dooku was, and Rex.”
“Dooku was your lover?” Thrawn was surprised.
She sighs. “We… we kept it a secret. But it wasn’t love. It was power he wished for. So I knew I had to cut things off. That’s… that’s the other reason I left the Sepratists.”
“She was still naive then, but she learned from those mistakes,” Ragnos added. “I am proud of the path you’ve chosen.”
“It is the only path to choose,” she said and bowed her head.
“That’s my good girl,” her father said and pat her head like a child.
She couldn’t help but always feel comforted by her father. She never got to know either of her parents, not that she remembered him when she was growing up. Things were getting complicated then. All her siblings had blamed her for their mothers death. And she knew it was her fault, after all.
Ragnos turned to Thrawn and looked him up and down again.
“You will treat my daughter right, won’t you?”
She slapped his arm again in protest, but Thrawn surprised her.
“Of course, sir. No harm shall ever come to your daughter.”
She looked at Thrawn, and he was serious. He wasn’t just saying it to him.
“You’re worthy, more worthy than any before you. Don’t ruin it.”

Chapter Ten:
Note: This chapter has some smexual tension and feeding/blood mention.
She winces, realizing it’s been almost a month now since she’s fed, and she begins hearing the blood in the bodies of the room. She breathes and tries to clear her head. Once she calms down, she stands again but doesn’t face them.
“It’s nothing to worry about, I’m fine.”
“You haven’t fed have you?” Tarkin asks.
“Fed? What do you mean?” Pryce asks.
“I just sent out reports to both you and the Grand Admiral, but because of this sudden issue I don’t believe either of you has gotten a chance to read it. Emperor Palpatine wanted me to keep this information hidden, until we were sure we could trust Miss White.”
So they don’t know yet.
“I was expecting Miss White to ask when she needed sustenance, but I should have known better. This is the exact thing that happened with the Jedi.”
She turns but won’t meet anyone’s gaze, feeling chastised like a child.
“Miss White is a Sanguine. A blood drinker. She needs blood to keep her alive. And if she doesn’t feed, she becomes a… problem,” Tarkin says.
“What kind of a problem?” Pryce asks.
She sighs and opens her eyes, revealing her irises have now turned red. Pryce gasps, and Thrawn is surprised to be met with a red gaze from someone else.
“I.. I’m sorry, Moff Tarkin.”
“Sorry isn’t going to cut it, Miss White. You are not permitted to let yourself get into this weakened state any longer. I know the Jedi allowed it, fearing what you are. But here it is unacceptable. Is that understood?”
“Yes, Moff Tarkin,” she bowed her head.
“You become too erratic when starved. And will become a danger to our men if you don’t keep yourself in order.”
“Yes… Moff Tarkin. My apologies, it won’t happen again.”
“See that it doesn’t,” he tells her, then turns to Thrawn. “See that she is fed as soon as possible.”
“Yes, Moff Tarkin,” Thrawn nods.
They all walk out of the holding cell.
“I will be going back to give news to the Emperor.”
Tarkin leaves. Pryce and Thrawn turn to look at Arvanna. Her eyes are still red. They begin walking and Arvanna follows with. Once they get back to Thrawn’s office, Thrawn turns to Pryce.
“You may leave.”
She is surprised, but nods.
“Yes, Grand Admiral.”
She leaves and the two are in his office alone. Arvanna sits in the chair she always does, but looks up at the ceiling and closes her eyes. Thrawn goes over to his terminal and see’s there is a message from Tarkin, obviously the information about Arvanna he sent. It is very thorough, detailing even what happened when Count Dooku reported when he chose himself to be her prey. She waits for him to read the report, eyes closed. Once done he looks up at her.
“So, you only need to feed? You don’t have to kill your prey?” he asks.
She brings her head back to level and looks at him. She pauses a moment, doing her best to keep herself calm. Since Pryce left, the only scent in the room was Thrawn, and she didn’t want to lose control.
“No, I only need a little bit. Enough to sustain me.”
“How often do you need to feed?” he asked as he comes around his desk to sit in the chair across from her.
“A couple of times a week is ideal from what I’ve found out.”
Thrawn pauses a moment, processing the information still.
“Very well, proceed then.”
She was surprised.
“W-what? What do you mean?” she asked.
“I volunteer to be your prey. You may feed from me.”
She was in shock, had he really just said that? Did he even know what he was getting into? Slowly she could hear his heartbeat getting louder and louder in her mind, remembering that was her trigger to feed. She took a deep breath.
“Just don’t kill me, please,” he said with a slight smile.
She got up from her chair and walked over to him and stood there a moment. It always felt scary the first time she fed on a person. First Dooku, then Rex. After she left the Jedi Order, she didn’t leave anyone alive when she fed then, knowing it was dangerous to leave someone alive. She’d have to control herself again, like she did with those of her past.
She looked into his eyes, and he stared right back, curious. Arvanna slowly leaned down and put her hands softly on both sides of his arms, to stabilize herself. This was the first physical contact she ever made with the man.
Slowly she leaned down and sniffed the air around him. He had an interesting scent. It was very faint, but she could smell some sort of clove spice. As she got closer to his neck, he closed his eyes slowly. She extended her fangs and leaned close, fangs about to pierce. But for some reason she hesitated. She knew what this would end up meaning, and paused, holding still in that moment. He could feel her breath on his neck as he awaited, but opened his eyes when nothing happened.
She sighed and leaned back, moving away from him and slightly pacing.
“Is something wrong?” he asked, curious.
“I just… I can’t do this…” she frowned as she sat back in her chair.
“You heard Moff Tarkin though, you need to feed.”
“I-I know,” she stammered a moment. “I just…”
She looked down, deep in thought. Could she do this again? It would mean she would learn everything about this man. His thoughts, his past, everything. Was she ready for that responsibility again?
Little did she know, Thrawn had gotten up and walked around his office, looking for something. He walked up to one of the trophies in his office, seeing the sharp points on it.
“What happens when you smell blood?” he asks, curious.
She looks up to see his finger touching the point on the object. Before she could say anything, he presses down, the sharp tip piercing his finger as blood begins to drip from the tip to the ground before him.
The sight of blood from his finger made her hyper focus on it and she growled deeply.
He didn’t realize how dangerous of a predator was in his office and he gasped softly. Doing her best to control herself, the scent of his blood filled the room and the sound of his heartbeat became so loud she could hardly think. Her eyes went from his finger to the blood that dropped onto his office floor. She moved so quick he couldn’t even see, but she began licking the blood from the floor. Once she was done, she looked up.
The sight of her with his blood on her lips was curious, indeed. Her eyes focused on his finger that was still bleeding. He slowly put it forward, inviting her, and she gently took his hand into hers. Softly she wrapped her lips around the tip of his finger and began to suck at the blood coming from it. He could feel her tongue running along the mark. Her eyes were shut, but she opened them and looked up into his eyes. The sight of her there, on her knees sucking the blood from his finger stirred something in him he had never felt before.
She was done with the appetizer and stood, ready for the main course. As she stood, she held his wrist in her one hand up and swiftly backed him into the wall, a little roughly with her other hand on his chest. He didn’t protest, but just watched her. His gaze never left her eyes as she leaned in closer and smelled the air around him again, savoring the scent of her new prey. She liked the clove scent he had. Slowly she lowered her fangs to his neck once again, this time she grazed him and he seemed to almost hold his breath a moment as she smiled. After a moment, which felt longer for him due to the anticipation, she leaned in and bit down gently into his flesh.
He winced a moment and let out a soft moan, unsurprising to her. As she drank, his mind became a blur and a strange euphoria washed over him completely. It was unlike anything he had ever felt. Never before had he felt such pleasure as this.
As he enjoyed the private feeling, she could see his past and read his thoughts. She saw all that he was, the same way she had seen Dooku and Rex.
She softly took her fangs out from his neck, and helped him over to his usual chair in his office so he could sit. She knew he was a little weak from the feeding. He sat there a moment, gaining his composure once again.

Chapter Nine:
She felt like a prisoner, but knew it was because they didn’t trust her. And she didn’t even want to be there, but maybe this is what her father meant. That she had a ‘higher purpose’.
Once she was able to, she wanted to go to Florrum to get her belongings and bring them here, since she wouldn’t be staying there any longer.
Maybe I can ask Thrawn if I can go, even if I need an escort.
She sighed, easily bored again. Maybe once they trusted her, she could at least walk around too. Sitting in a room reminded her too much of when she was a slave to Naraku.
For now she sat and meditated. And for a long time that’s all she did. Day in and out, it was questions from Thrawn, sitting in her room, and either sleeping or meditating. Finally after about a few days, she decided to ask.
She was once again in Thrawn’s office, and he sat in the chair adjacent to her.
“Could I ask something?” She managed to say, still nervous.
He was surprised, during this whole time she hadn’t asked anything, just answered questions.
“Of course, is there something I could do?”
“I am going stir-crazy when I’m in my room. It’s empty, and I don’t know how much longer I can stand it.”
“What is it you would like?”
“To walk around? Even when I’m not in your care? I haven’t done a thing to make you think I’d be trouble. I’ve obeyed every order given to me without question or resistance. I just want some trust.”
Thrawn was surprised and put a hand to his chin. He thought a moment, then nodded.
“I don’t see why not. You know there will be consequences if you do anything. Permission granted.”
She looked at the two saber hilts sitting on his desk.
“And when can I have my sabers back?”
“Soon,” was all he said.
There was an alarm and Governor Pryce entered.
“Moff Tarkin has just arrived.”
“I see,” he turns to Arvanna. “I take it you’ll be fine on your one this time?”
“Actually, may I accompany you?”
Again he was surprised. Governor Pryce looked distrustful toward her.
“Very well, come with me.”
The Governor and Arvanna were both surprised. She could sense he was taking a chance in trusting her.
As they left his office they went into the main hangar as Tarkin was landing. Once securely down, the door opened and some troopers came out, then Tarkin. They had a prisoner behind them, but something felt familiar to her about this presence.
Once the prisoner was dragged out due to being unconscious, she softly gasped. Thrawn had heard it and was curious, but said nothing as he wanted to see how this played out.
“Grand Admiral Thrawn, I’ve brought a special prisoner for you,” Tarkin said. “They have not stated their name, but we do know them to be a Mystic from Fascintaru.”
The woman started to awake, groggy. She was in all white with brown hair.
Rose, Arvanna thought. That’s White Rose. I thought she was dead, but she must have escaped as well. I wonder what she was doing?
“Do you know this woman, Arvanna?” Thrawn asked her as the other two there looked at her.
“I do, quite well. Where did you find her?” she asked Tarkin.
“She was caught at one of our bases, trying to steal a ship. But once we attempted to apprehend her, she used what seemed to be the force to try to free herself.”
“Not the force, magic,” Arvanna corrected.
Rose looked up, hearing the voice of her former friend.
“Asellus, you’re.. you’re here?” Rose asked.
Arvanna softly growled a moment, hating the name their former Lord gave her.
“How did you escape Rose?” Arvanna asked.
“The same way you did, I smuggled myself off the planet. I was in search of you. Things have gotten much worse on Fascintaru.”
“Have her thrown in the brig for further processing,” Tarkin said and the troopers took her.
“Asellus! Asellus please! I need your help! We need your help!”
Her calls grew faint as she was taken away.
“She called you Asellus, is that your name?” Thrawn asked.
“No, it’s… it’s a long story.”
“So she’s a friend of yours?” Tarkin asked.
“No,” she scowled. “She is not.”
“Where is Fascintaru?” Governor Pryce asked, not quite sure what is going on.
“Fascintaru is a cloaked planet, it only appears for traders and natives. Only those with Mystic blood can get there.”
“How did she know you then?” Governor Pryce asked.
“I was abducted decades ago, and brought there. But I found a way to smuggle myself off the planet. I became a fugitive to them ever since and they hunted me.”
“The Emperor has had an interest in Fascintaru for a long time know, but has not been able to acquire any kind of information on how to get there.”
“Let’s continue this conversation in my office,” Thrawn said to Tarkin, then looked at Arvanna to include her.
They made their way back to his office, it this time did not include Governor Pryce. She sat down, as did Tarkin while Thrawn stood and pulled up his map.
“Where is Fascintaru located?” Thrawn asked.
Arvanna looked at the map a moment, seeing where it should be. She got up up and went over to where the controls were by Thrawn.
“May I?” she asked.
“Please do,” he confirmed and moved aside.
She pushed a few buttons, entered some specs, and suddenly a planet popped up on the map.
“This is where Fascintaru is located. As I said, they have a special way to cloak their planet, and only Mystics may enter.”
“I remember seeing the reports that were taken from the Jedi council, that you were in fact a member of the Mystics?” Tarkin asked.
She debated the information she had, not sure she wanted to give it to the Empire. She looked at Thrawn, and realized this would be a good exchange of information for more freedom with the Empire and her overseer.
“I will give you the information you require, if we can make a trade.”
Thrawn was intrigued. “What kind of a trade?”
“I want to go back to Florrum to retrieve my belongings, since I no longer will be staying there. In return, I’ll give you all the information you want on Fascintaru.”
He thought for a moment, then looked into her eyes. He had done this a few times before during his line of questioning, assessing her true intentions.
“If you give me the chance, I can be greatly beneficial. I’m not your enemy. And I can be of great help too,” she said. “If you’ll just give me a chance.”
Tarkin and Thrawn both gave each other a look.
“Very well,” Tarkin said. “But should you do anything, you’ll be executed.”
“That’s fine, I won’t.”
The moment she said it, she realized she was getting more and more involved with the Empire, and wasn’t sure how she felt about it, but had no choice. This had to be what her father meant, that things would change drastically again for her. And it got her mind off all the sorrow she faced.
So she began to tell her tale. That of when she was abducted, and when she wandered through Fascintaru until she came upon this field of white flowers. And a man appeared suddenly and just as suddenly stabbed her with a blade. When she awoke, the flowers were stained purple. She found her way to the castle entrance and found there were so many there, pure bloods. And that’s when she met her captor, Lord Orlouge. A man with long purple hair in robes of a king. She had found out they tainted her blood with their Mystic blood, and there were only two ways for her to proceed. To either kill Orlouge, thus removing any trace of Mystic blood. Or to drink his blood and become a pure blood and their new leader.
She continued to tell them that those that were tainted like her were his Princesses, and a lot of them had been frozen in these weird glass coffins, but those loyal were able to stay awake. Like Rose. They had even given her a new name, Asellus. They called her the Charm Lord. Rose was the caretaker to new Princesses. And they had become friends until she learned that. That’s when she smuggled herself off planet. And once off, she was hunted everyday of her life by them.
In the end, every Princess lost. And finally she decided to go back to settle everything. But when she returned, Rose wasn’t there. So she made her way to Lord Orlouge’s chamber, and fought to the death with him, thus freeing herself from his slavery.
“So this Lord is dead now?” Tarkin asked.
“Yes,” she answered.
“And did you drink his blood?” Thrawn asked.
She was surprised, how did he know?
“I… I did.”
“So you’re the leader of Fascintaru now?” Tarkin asked.
“I… I am. I left Ildon in charge in my absence.”
“So what of the woman then?” Tarkin asked. “This isn’t the first time we encountered her. We think she is working with the rebels now.”
“She may have felt his passing and decided to go on her own path then. Ildon would have told me if she ever returned to Fascintaru.”
“Have her executed,” Thrawn said. “And you’re going to be the one to do it.”
He said it to Arvanna, who was shocked.
“This is your chance to prove you can be trusted.”
He takes the single hilt saber and hands it to her. She thinks a moment, knowing this will seal her fate with the Empire, but where else did she have to go?
“End her life and I’ll be convinced you mean us no harm.”
Tarkin looked at her too. “I can agree with this.”
She looked down at the saber hilt in her hands, realizing she had not once used her fathers blade.
“Very well,” Arvanna nodded.
They left his office and Governor Price joined them once again. Governor Price only knew the girl brought in was a rebel, nothing else. As they all entered the holding area where she was, she was sitting in the corner.
“Oh Asellus! Thank the gods I’ve found you!” Rose said.
Arvanna took her saber from her belt and held it in her hand. Not once yet has she made eye contact with Rose.
“You should have never shown up, Rose.”
Rose looks confused a moment, then shocked.
“You’re the one… you… you killed Lord Orlouge?” she softly asked.
“I did.”
“Then you’re finally free!” she smiled.
Arvanna finally looks up from her saber to Rose. As she opens her eyes, Rose sees they are red and gasps.
“Wrong again,” Arvanna says.
“N-no! You didn’t?!”
Arvanna smiles darkly.
“Correct, I am now Lady Asellus. Ruler of Fascintaru. And you, are a traitor to your people. And you know what we do to traitors, Rose.”
“No please! Asellus you know what he was like! Are you really going to follow in his footsteps like this?! I don’t understand!”
She presses the button on her saber and a red blade comes out.
“A-Asellus?” Rose says softly.
“Goodbye, Rose.”
And with that, she takes and cuts Rose’s head off. As her head tumbles forward, she sheathes her blade once again.
“Very good, Miss White,” Tarkin says. “You have proven yourself to be trustworthy. I will give word to Emperor Palpatine.”
Arvanna grunts and falls to her knees a moment.
“What is it?” Governor Pryce asked.

Chapter Eight:
The man turned and Arvanna was met with a piercing red gaze. It shocked her to see someone with red eyes. Especially like his.
“Thank you Governor Pryce,” he said in a deep, soothing voice.
The man walked up to her and looked her up and down.
“My name is Grand Admiral Thrawn. You are Arvanna White, correct?” he asked.
“Yes,” she answered softly.
She didn’t want to admit it, but she was nervous. She had heard some stories about Thrawn. He was pretty impressive.
He reached towards her and uncuffed her hands.
“There is no need for these. I’d like you to be as comfortable as possible.”
She raised an eyebrow at him slightly, surprised at his kindness.
“I’ve arranged some quarters for you, have you eaten yet today?” he asked.
She wondered if he was aware of her ‘needs’, but didn’t want to say anything about it.
“Yes, before I was… well brought here,” she lied.
She wanted to say captured but it wasn’t a capture if she agreed to come.
“You may leave, Governor Pryce. She will remain in my charge for the time being.”
“Yes Grand Admiral,” she said and left.
She stood there with him, along with some Stormtroopers at the command center.
“So, how are you supposed to tell if I’m a rebel?” she asked, curious.
“Time will only tell. Honestly you don’t seem like you are. But I will get to the bottom of it and make sure.”
He was talking with some people through a com while she just stood there, not really sure what she should be doing. After a while, he turned to her.
“If you’ll follow me,” Thrawn asked kindly and lead the way.
She followed behind him, surprised no troopers were following. As they made their way, he nodded at a trooper in front of a door. They nodded back and moved aside for him to enter. She assumed it was his office.
Arvanna continued to follow silently, and they made their way to a back area. Once there, Thrawn pulled up a map and was studying it. After a few minutes, he turned and spoke.
“Do you know what it is I’m doing?” Thrawn asked.
“You’re fighting the rebels right?”
“Yes, but also more than that. I’m trying to locate their main base. These rebels have been quite cunning.”
She didn’t say anything, she wasn’t sure what to really say. She looked around and saw two chairs in the room and decided to sit in the one.
As she sat and watched what he was doing, she became a little more relaxed. Her anxiety was high, being around people she didn’t know. As she calmed herself, she skimmed Thrawn’s mind. He was calm and focused, as well as calculating what to say next to her. This was new to him, he never really had a charge to watch.
“What did you do after you left the Jedi Order?” he asked.
“I wandered around a lot. System to system. Spent some time with an old friend.”
“Who was this friend?”
“Hondo Onaka.”
“Ah, the pirate smuggler. What did you do while there?”
She felt a little embarrassed.
“Well, honestly? Drink my sorrows away. Things were pretty traumatic for me.“
“Why is that?”
“After… after I killed my sister Samara, it didn’t feel right anymore to be at the Jedi Order. I said my goodbyes to my younger sister Kikyo and left.”
“Why did you kill her?”
“She was a traitor. But not to the Jedi Order, to me.”
She closed her eyes and took a deep breath to calm herself. Talking about Samara and what happened on Korriban was extremely hard.
“How so?”
“I don’t want to talk about this anymore. It’s just… personal and painful. I don’t want to relive those memories.”
“I appreciate you being so cooperative with me thus far. Very well, since it is a sensitive subject, we can come back to it another time.”
She was surprised how respectful he was, and professional.
“How long have you known Onaka?”
“Over a decade at least. He’s been a good friend to me over the years. Going to Florrum was always my safe place. He is sort of like an older brother I guess, the way he takes care of me.”
“When was the last time you saw him?”
“Before Order 66. Maybe a year before that. I haven’t spoken to him in a while. That’s just how we are usually.”
Thrawn hummed in thought and turned off the map.
“Tell me about yourself.”
“What about me? Is there anything specific you want to know?”
“What made you leave the Separatists and join the Jedi Order?”
“My sister Kikyo. She begged me to be there, and I wanted to be there for her. Being the eldest I always felt like I had to take care of her. She was… very sensitive.”
“It’s always admirable to care for family. I’m sure that made her quite happy.”
Arvanna didn’t know what to say, so she nodded.
“Who was your Master when you were there?”
“Master Plo Koon,” she said solemnly. “He really was a good man.”
“How did he die?”
“He was shot down.”
“My apologies, these questions must be hard for you to answer.”
“A little, but it’s alright. I understand.”
He sat in the chair next to her now. His proximity made her a little nervous. She felt this odd calm feeling around him, and the closer he was, the calmer she felt.
“So, how does this whole ‘you watching me thing’ work? Am I supposed to be with you 24/7? May I know what Emperor Palpatine has ordered?”
“Certainly. Basically until I feel otherwise, you will be with me 24/7. Unless it’s an important meeting of course, then I will ask you to kindly stay in your quarters. Emperor Palpatine has a special interest in you, and has ordered me to treat you with the utmost respect. As well as find out what happened since the Clone Wars ended. He also forwarded me some files on you as well.”
She was surprised he was so honest with her.
There was a chime at his door and Governor Pryce entered.
“Grand Admiral Thrawn, there is a transmission for you at the command center.”
“Very well.”
He turns to her as he stands up.
“This will be one of those moments that I ask you to stay in your quarters. Is that alright?”
“Yeah, that’s fine.”
“Thank you. Governor Pryce, please escort Arvanna to her quarters.”
“Yes sir,” she said.
They all were walking out of the room. Pryce first, Arvanna, then Thrawn. She looked to her right as she was leaving, wondering what was behind this other door in this office. They exited the office and Thrawn walked one way while Price and Arvanna went another.
As they walked through the corridors, they made it to where Arvanna’s quarters were. Pryce opened the door and Arvanna stepped inside.
“I trust you won’t try to escape?”
“No, I understand your caution. I will remain in this room.”
She nodded and left, leaving Arvanna alone yet again. As she looked around the room, it was basic, nothing really interesting.
Now what should I do? she thought.

Chapter Seven:
She didn’t know how much time had passed, but finally she heard noise outside the door. She stayed sitting in the middle of the room, meditating. As the door opened, the woman was there again, along with Moff Tarkin.
Well, seems you are a person of interest to the Empire, specifically the Emperor.”
“You mean Emperor Palpatine?”
“Yes, you are correct. He extends the offer for you to join the Empire. Is this something you’d like?” Tarkin asks her.
She sits and thinks.
Do I really want to do this? I don’t think I have another choice right now. If Sidious knows I’m here, and I don’t, he’ll have me killed.
She sighed. “And if I don’t, I die right?”
“Indeed,” Tarkin said. “He was very clear to treat you with respect. As well as give you a special arrangement, similar to the one you had with the Jedi.”
“Special arrangement?” the woman asked.
“Yes, she’s of very special interest to us. She’s no ordinary Force User.”
“Even if I say yes, how can you trust me knowing I was formally a Jedi?” she asked.
“You’re going to be assigned to someone that will keep a very close eye on you. If you accept these terms, we will transfer you to his ship and begin preparations. He will make sure you aren’t a rebel.”
“What about my… dietary restrictions?”
The woman looked confused, but Tarkin knew about her.
“That will also be arranged, you need not worry. And if you have any concerns, you can tell your overseer.”
She sat a moment, reading Tarkin’s energy. He was telling the truth.
“Very well. I accept the terms and agree to join.”
“Nice to have you aboard, Governor Pryce here will escort you over to your overseers ship.”
“This way,” Price said.
“Wait. My sabers, where are they? I won’t leave without them.”
Tarkin took both of them off of his belt, and looked them over. He handed them to Governor Pryce.
“Your overseer will keep these, until you can be trusted. I trust that’s fine with you?”
“Yes, as long as no harm comes to that one,” she pointed at the Jedi saber.
“Why that one specifically?” Tarkin asked.
“It… was my sisters.”
She lied to him, it was actually her father’s but she didn’t want anyone to know.
“What ever happened to your other sister?” Tarkin asked, recalling Samara was also with the Jedi.
“She’s dead. I killed her.”
Tarkin was a little surprised, but nodded.
“This way, we must leave immediately,” Pryce said.
She followed, hands cuffed in front of her. They made their way back to where her ship was sitting.
“We’re going to take your ship over. I trust that’s not a problem?” Pryce asked, not really caring about the answer.
“Of course, I’m glad to keep it.”
A couple of Stormtroopers followed, just as security for the Governor.
As they boarded, the Stormtroopers went to fly the ship as Price and Arvanna sat in the main lounge area.
“Who are you that the Emperor is so trusting?” Pryce asked, curious.
“I’m sure once you get back to the ship you’ll do some research and find out why. But I’m a powerful dark force user. I was once Count Dooku’s apprentice.”
“But you left and joined the Jedi?”
“The only reason I left and joined was for my sister Kikyo. If it wasn’t for her I… would have stayed.”
There was silence as they landed on the adjacent ship. They got up and moved off the ship into the hangar. Governor Pryce escorted Arvanna through the ship to the command center, where there was a blue skinned man standing. Price walked over to the man and handed over the lightsabers she had to him.
So, he’s my overseer.
“Grand Admiral Thrawn, I present your charge,” Pryce said.

Chapter Six:
“Unknown vessel, state your business or you will be fired upon,” someone said over the com.
She pushed the button to return transmission.
“I’m just a traveler, passing through. My apologies for not responding sooner.”
“Prepare to be come aboard for an inspection,” the voice said then cut transmission.
Boarded? What for? This made her nervous. She was being drawn into the large ship before her with a tractor beam. She had no reason to be worried, but being a former Jedi may make this hard for her. And she hadn’t been around so many people in a long time. And.. also hadn’t fed in a long time.
She landed, opened the front door, and got out. There was some sort of Lieutenant, and a woman with piercing blue eyes.
“What’s your name? And are there anymore people aboard your ship?” The Lieutenant asked.
“My name is Arvanna, and no there is no one else on my ship.”
As some Stormtroopers got into her ship, someone else entered the hangar. She looked up only to meet Moff Tarkin’s gaze.
Shiiiiit.
Once they had locked eyes, Tarkin made his way over to her, curious. Once before her, he sort of stared at her.
“You look familiar.”
They had only met once, but she knew it was enough to get her into trouble now. The Stormtroopers came back and reported no one else was aboard.
“Guards, seize her,” the woman said.
The Stormtroopers got close to her and she looked at Tarkin a moment.
“Tarkin wait, please. It’s me. Arvanna.”
He looked a moment, then was surprised.
“The Jedi?”
“Former Jedi. I am no longer. I left them.”
“Place her in the brig,” the woman said.
“Wait,” Tarkin said.
She was frozen, worried he wouldn’t believe her.
“You’re the dark one they recruited, aren’t you? You were Count Dooku’s apprentice, correct?”
“Yes, I was.”
“Hmmm, place her in the brig for now. I need to send a message to someone,” Tarkin said.
The Stormtroopers put handcuffs on her. Tarkin walked up and searched her sides, finding two lightsabers. One was that of a Jedi, the other was an Inquisitors blade. He took them with him and left with the woman.
“This way,” the Lieutenant said as the troopers escorted her.
She was nervous but followed them, and ended up in a brig. They left and she was there alone, in the silence.
“Great. Just great. Now I’m stuck here.”
She groaned and sat down, knowing she can’t go anywhere else for the time being.
