Honestly? Ben didn’t deserve to explain anything. He didn’t deserve her understanding but yet here he was inside her apartment. “Good” She said as she took some of the other noodles and started to eat next to Josh. She glanced at him when he spoke. “That’s not good. You can’t drink this all day. And calling Eden would be good for you. Maybe go an clear your mind?”

“Josh...what can I do?” She asked as she watched him curling up on the couch. “You need to eat” She said as she took the noodles she brought and offered them to Josh.

After her emotional talk with Josh and then the surprise and very unwanted visit from Ben made Lizzie feel very upset. She didn’t want it to mess with her head but she couldn’t help it.

Lizzie was sitting in a hoodie, pair of leggings and glass of tea while binge watching friends on Netflix when suddenly she heard a knock on her door. She got up hoping it’s not another visit from Ben. She felt her heart beating like crazy while walking slowly to the door. Then when she opened the door she felt a huge relief when it was Gwil and not Ben. She smiled when she heard what he said “Gwil! So nice to see you again!” She said still smiling at the taller male. “Come in!” She said as she walked back inside the house. “What brought you here? Just a random surprise visit? I see you like these”

He had to be at a party later tonight but he hadn’t seen Lizzie since they were in London and something about the way she had been messaging made him a little worried, it was early afternoon when he headed to the grocery store to pick up some wine, and a nice fruit cheesecake hoping he could help lifted her mood if only a little before he had to head out for the night. 

He arrived at her place knocking on the door resting the cake on his outstretched palm waiting for her to open the door. He could hear moving around by the door on the other side a soft smile spreading over his lips. He looked at her slightly concerned as the door opened the smile however not faltering. He held up the bottle of Muscat. “I come in peace” He joked hoping to get a smile out of her if not an actual laugh.

Lizzie wanted to be there for her friends. As long as they were happy she was happy. She never thought that Josh would break like this but she was willing to be there no matter what. “You’re too special to be like that.” She whispered gently.

You’re my friend and I care a lot about you.” She said trying not to cry looking at Josh. “I wish I could help you feel better.”

Lizzie just took her last sip when she heard Josh walking by. She heard what he said and her eyes grow wide. She know he felt horrible but he couldn’t blame himself. Lizzie jumped off her chair, leaving the glass on the table and walking to Josh. She put her hand on his cheek again “Josh! You’re a great father! You have two amazing children before Westlyn and this baby girl will be the greatest because of you. You’re not alone. You don’t have to pretend like everything okay when it’s not because it make you feel even worse. You’re such a great man and it’s killing me seeing you like this!”

Lizzie sat there staring at Westlyn sleeping. She looked so peaceful. She didn’t know that her mommy left and her daddy is crushed. All she probably know was when would be the next nap. Lizzie placed a soft kiss against Westlyn’s forehead. She then put her in her crib as she walked back to the kitchen, taking the wine bottle and pouring some wine in her glass. Then the blonde sat and took a few sips while waiting for her friend.
