by the end of twp ash will probably take the name fairchild cause the other main 5 shadowhunter family lines have ways to continue on blood wise (herondale - jace and clary, lightwood - simon and izzy, blackthorn - julian and emma (also tavvy), carstairs - jem and tessa) and fairchild’s the only one left out.

while the clary being all like “isabelle is gorgeous and i hate her” can be interpreted as a catty, bitch thing, i choose to interpret it as bi clary not understanding how to deal with her crush on isabelle, and therefore going with “i hate her, that’s why i think abt how pretty she is all the time” because, i will admit, before i knew i was bi, this is something i did a lot for girls i like, and i just prefer this to clary being a bitch
