There was a rather terrifying moment at the farm not long after the birth of Edric. Overwhelmed and exhausted, Alan dropped to the floor. Timothy was in a bizarre way excited as he saw this as him getting one step closer to inheriting everything the Fletchers' owned. However, Julianna was overwhelmed by grief and found herself pleading with Grim to save Alan, which to her surprise worked!
