2025. 03. 10 | but the light!

I love the independence of doing a PhD! I thrive when I’m interested in what I’m doing (I am), I’m constantly learning (also), and I am not being micromanaged (I’m not!). I love my supervisor and the faith she’s showing me to get my own shit done.

I love my job.

I love my project.

My boss is so great.

I can’t tell how much of all this enthusiasm is coming from the sun and how much is real but I’m riding it.

i always struggle a lot to be productive in the mornings when i have closing shifts at work, i stg i'd give my soul to be a morning person. But even if i snoozed the alarm quite a lot today, i still managed to get stuff done!

did an hour of getting grammar points into my notebook, i was a bit behind but only a few points left now to get up to date with what we're seeing now in my classes. hopefully tomorrow will be done with it! also listened to a podcast on my commute, as well as some radio and some tiktok time :)

So I think I forgot to post about it here but I'm knitting my own wedding dress.

Edit to add materials: I'm using suri silk alpaca (apparently I'm slightly allergic to mohair?), and glass beads for the silvery and pearl beads.
