These past few days at Finn's mom's house have been amazing, and we still have the rest of the week to go! Just getting to sit around all day doing nothing but talking to Finn and Carole, has been so great. I forgot how amazing it could feel to do nothing. How is everything in New York?

Kurt: Not when she calls you that in front of other five year olds who remember it!

Kurt: I'm sure it'll be something, and Finn is pretty tall, so it could be that you end up with a tall baby. Any chance you could text those to me? I bet they're adorable.

Rachel: Kurtie-Cake! I love that! I'll definitely be using that in future.

Rachel: It definitely could. Or he/she could end up short like me. We'll just have to wait an see! I'll see what I can do. Of course they'll be! He's super cute now, I can only imagine what he was like when he was a baby.

Kurt: I hope it will.

Kurt: Kurtie-cake.

Kurt: That's great, I'm happy you guys are getting some relaxation time. It sounds like you're in good hands.

Rachel: Kurtie-Cake? Oh my gosh, that is adorable!

Rachel: Yeah, it'll be really nice. I'm so excited. Who better to tell me how to take care of a Hudson baby than someone who has had one herself? Plus, she promised to show me some of Finn's baby pictures.

Kurt: Exactly, and when he's ready, he knows I'm here.

Kurt: Oh man, I really hope he doesn't find out the one from my Great Aunt when I was younger. That was embarrassing when she was around.

Kurt: Exactly.

Kurt: So enough about me, how are you?

Rachel: I'm sure it'll make it at least a little bit easier knowing you're there for him.

Rachel: You should tell me what it was.

Rachel: I'm good. Just really happy and excited to be going to spend some time with Finn and his mom, getting to relax a bit. She knows about the baby, so I'm hoping to get some tips from her.

Kurt: Not yet. I think Sam might tell them, soon, though, it just depends on him.

Kurt: You should! You should have seen the look on his face when I teased him. I felt bad in a way.

Kurt: I hope so. I mean, I don't see how she couldn't be, especially with a son as amazing as Sam is.

Rachel: Yeah, it'd be a lot easier then, because you wouldn't have to hide your relationship from them. But of course it's up to Sam and when he's ready to tell them.

Rachel: I'm sure he'll soon find out embarrassing nicknames you once had, so don't feel bad.

Rachel: Of course. They shouldn't have a reason not to be.

Kurt: Nope. Sam and I had candles all over the place, cheese and crackers, wine, and all of a sudden, there's a knock on the door.

Kurt: Did you know Sam's mom calls him Sammy-poo? I don't think I will let him live that down.

Kurt: Also I think she suspects something, she kept giving us knowing looks.

Rachel: I can sense your nervousness, just from a text. I'm guessing you guys didn't tell them then?

Rachel: Sammy-poo? That's cute. I'm hoping to find out some of Finn's cute nicknames this week.

Rachel: Really? And you think she's okay with it?

Rachel: They are? Oh, wow. Were you expecting them?

You definitely weren't, I could tell. I so could! And I'm definitely going to now because you said that.

Maybe I was just being sarcastic? You couldn’t ignore me if you tried.

No way. I will not 'deal with it'. You specifically said 'I might miss you a little..' which technically means, you'll miss me. I'm going to come visit Elijah, and ignore you, just so you miss me even more now.

Milk makes me sleepy so I totally get him. I’m denying it and you gotta deal with it, Berry. Sorry.

Of course she has. That's adorable! Besides the tiredness, I'm sure it feels amazing to have a new addition to your little family. Milk makes a lot of people sleepy, especially babies, so that doesn't surprise me. You totally did! And you can't even deny it.

She’s totally touch, Rach. She’s got this. Yeah, she’s kinda showing him all the different places in the apartment and then just laying with him and relaxing. It’s kind of cute. Yeah, he only wakes up a couple of times but both times he’s fallen asleep when he’s eating which is pretty funny. We’re probably not gonna though. Whatever you say, I admitted nothing.

Yeah, it's probably natural for every mother to feel like that. You'll get the hang of it, though. It'll just come naturally to you. I'm sure if he really needs something, he'll cry and I doubt you'll sleep through that 

Thanks for welcoming baby Elijah into the world.

He’s been great, but he’s already starting to get needy. And I’m just worried about sleeping because I feel like I won’t wake up if he needs something. I can’t even let him out of my sight. I guess it’s one of those new mother worries.

It's good to know I have at least a little influence over you! I highly doubt she was faking, considering the fact she basically just gave birth to a baby. Being home with a new baby is always super exciting, though, and I'm sure any woman would perk up at that. Hopefully the both of you will get a good sleep tonight. Has he been sleeping through the night so far? I know he's only been around for one or two, but still, do you think you'll get the full nights sleep? Doesn't matter, you still admitted to missing me, and now I'm happy.

Fine, but only because you told me to. Yeah - she was out of it for a couple hours but she’s sorta perked up since we’ve been home and stuff, which just makes me think she was faking. I’m way more tired than her. I might miss you a little, but not as much as you want me to.
