I'm a bit tired of people saying the rushed feeling throughout Arcane Season II is bad writing. It isn't bad writing. It's bad executives. It's good writers having to shove what should be twenty episodes of plot and character building into less than half of that. It's a recurring issue in almost any truly artistic show on any streaming service. Corporate leaders have truly invested in a "quantity over quality" dynamic and every artistic project, but especially animation, is getting the short end of the stick. Sometimes I wish I was back in the summer of my fifteenth year when I was walking around my neighborhood on a hot day with clear skies and then I got surprised by some warm summer rain. No clouds! But the sky still cracked open as the air scented itself with ozone and summer growth. I took cover under some trees and watched all the different shades of green they wore as the water poured down.
