Emoti-con
There's something so emotionally naked about accepting the love you think you deserve and actually feel good about. Your mum getting you cut watermelons on a warm sunny day, your dad mumbling a quite "Goodluck" as you take your pens in a rush before a test, your s/o checking on you if you've taken your medications on time. How, as a person who's dealt this from the other end i.e as a giver, take up the silent role of the taker, when all that the world has screamed on our faces is that taking is to be selfish.
Are the lines too blurry or are we curving the chalk lines as we speak. We preach about silent appreciation with love laced on the edges, but how do I, as a mute know if the silence is too loud?

Peek-a-boo! Starting this post-apocalyptic dark pandemic thriller (2020 much?) By our very own Stephen King. My only target right now is to finish this humongous book by the end of this year lol.

Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn

It was a sunny morning on the fifth anniversary of Nick and Amy Dune's marriage. This day bears the disappearance of Nick's beautiful alpha-type-A wife Amy. With Amy's fiercly 'loving' parents, sharp detectives and a string of deceits, sloppy behaviour, lies along with Amy' diary revealing a personality that can put anyone on edge, Nick finds himself in this God forsaken mess of a case. This book delivers each line with razor sharp effectiveness with no fumbling with the plot. The characterization of each cast is done so well that along with the insanely building plot, you'd find yourself to actually know the characters on its individual stand.
The first half takes the usual crime-investigation theme, but at the second half the story sky rockets to an insane level and also a very well justified ending. Great read!

Where shall I even begin, this book made me realise I had a heart which is now just a hollow space because this book has taken it with itself. The book follows the life of a young girl Liesel in the war-ridden Germany during 1939-45. It is narrated by a personified voice of 'Death', a narration so well written that it makes you look into things in various perspectives. The book accounts Liesel life through heartbreak, loss, love and her triumph over hardships. Liesel is separated from her parent and is taken under foster care, the portrayal of her relation between them is what makes this book so special. It will make you smile, cry and clutch your heart at emotions💕 Its a definite must read according to me! The film adaption was very aptly done to suit the setting of the book and the characters, though personally I connected more with the book🌱

I'm personally a bit spooked with the prospect of watching horror films but I'm a huge fan of reading horror/thriller novels and this definitely filled the need for that! The book, penned by Stephen King, follows the journey of 7 children from the town of Derry in fighting Pennywise The Clown, our main antagonist. This book explores the power of human psychology very well and oftentimes I found myself scared of the actual human characters than the clown itself, and for me thats what made me love the whole reading process even better. Though, personally I felt the female characters, though not many, weren't written as well as their male counterparts and heavily sexualized at odd moments, even for a child as young as 12. This book spans various timelines spanning 27 years, hence racial/homophobic slurs are heavily used at certain points in the storyline. A general warning of heavy description of gore, usage of racial/homophobic slurs, and general heavy language. Great book for those who enjoy adrenaline rush and psychological thrillers.
