Let's talk about something.

There's a tiktok going around about Lee Know having a mark on his neck. Someone came to the conclusion that Han gave Lee Know a hickey, and then someone asked Han if they're sleeping together.

First of all, no. Just no. Whatever they do in private IS NOT anyone's business. They're human, and you can't ask things like that. Keep this shit up and they're going to end up distancing themselves like Felix and Hyunjin did.

Second, if you're the "Stay" that asked that or have ever asked them personal questions like this, shame on you. Shame on you for jumping to conclusions, and shame on you for prying into their personal lives.

Third, THEY'RE STRANGERS TO US. You wouldn't as the cashier at your local grocery store if they're sleeping with anyone, would you? No? Then why ask an idol?

I love Minsung just as much as anyone else does, but it is UNCALLED FOR to push them and pry like this. They're entitled to their privacy. It doesn't matter what they do behind closed doors. It's not our business. In my opinion, you aren't true Stay if you can't be a decent human and respect their boundries.

If you're the "fan" that assumed it's a hickey left by Han, shame on you.

If you're the fan that asked Han if they're sleeping together, SHAME ON YOU.

lee know is so fascinating to me because he’s one of the most handsome men alive and an incredibly talented dancer and singer but also just a strange little guy who likes to touch butts and has a dark, unfiltered sense of humor and seems kind of outwardly aloof but really he’s an animal lover and he enjoys taking care of the people he loves without wanting anything in return and he just marches to the beat of his own drum and i just. i love him so much and think he’s so layered and incredible

i'm just curious bc i'm watching How to Train Your Dragon and i always forget how happy and calm it makes me feel. i mean, i did name my cat after Toothless the dragon. but i also love Lion King, that's my Disney comfort movie. and my Ghibli comfort movie is Spirited Away. watching any of these when i'm in a foul mood or my anxiety is high always helps 🥰 but i watch them just for fun too, not only when i'm in a mood. what about you?

Anyways when I was sixteen I wrote a story about a spaceship's communications officer (think Uhura) who was given a brain implant when he was a baby that automatically translates every language in the universe, but which interferes with his ability to perceive and process subtle changes in tone. He hears an emotionless automated translator voice inside his head rather than hearing the real voices being physically carried by air vibrations. So he has the ability to interpret every word in every language, but he can never interpret tone of voice. And the ultimate message of the story is that understanding every possible text isn't enough -- if you don't understand subtext, you'll be isolated. The "communications officer" actually struggles to communicate more than anyone else on the ship.

You'll never guess what they diagnosed me with a year later.

This is hilarious

I was feeling agitated and artblocked yesterday so I decided to give my brain a rest by watching TV and then the next thing I knew these were in front of me

His wings looked unlike anything I'd ever seen.

There were no feathers or skin, no human- or bird-like features to make his appearance less uncanny.

Could they even be called wings?

The joints were made up of bark, dark brown with a light green shimmer from moss.

When he opened them, I saw more green.

Rooting out of the stems were long vines with small, dark green leaves.

It reminded me of a weeping willow.

The vines flowed in the wind, as he stood on the cliff.

It almost seemed as if the wings were self-made. Crafted from the imagination of a child playing in a garden.

But no. When he turned I could see them growing from his back. The skin ripped open but never bleeding, never hurting.

He seemed to wait for something.

He let the wind flow through his leaves once again.

He turned his head, staring directly at me and smiled.

His wings grew impossibly larger, taking even more wind, more power.

Until the wind almost lifted him clean off the edge of the cliff.

Then, and only then, he turned back looking straight before him and let his wings take him away.

I'm still a few semesters away from my bachelor's thesis but I'd honestly love to write about Fanfiction in a general sense and I think this is a really cool take.

The thing about fanfiction after writing original fiction for so long is that it feels like taking weighted clothes off. If I wanted a cool plot twist or a reveal or a mystery I had to set up all the expectations myself. I had to set up the red herrings, the clues, the boundaries of what was reasonable.

In fanfiction I drop a name from canon I never referenced before and it will carry the weight that a hundred pages of set up would carry in original fiction.

Do you have any fucking idea how intoxicating that is.

I just rewatched the season finale of Loki Season 2 and I noticed a parallel.

When Loki climbs up the stairs, picking up the timeline branches and inevitably reaches his throne, the throne gets incased in gold.

And I was asking myself "Where have I seen this before?" and then it hit me.

Hephaistos' throne.

In Greek mythology, he sent this throne to Hera, his mother, because she'd cast him out of Olympus as a child. The throne has the power to keep someone shackled for eternity.

In this context, Loki sitting on a similar throne would mean that he can never get up. He is destined to stay there, keeping watch over the timelines in the meantime, even if he is not encased in the gold, like Percy was in the Percy Jackson series.

I know there were already discussions about Loki having to live his worst nightmare now and both series have been out for a while, but I just noticed this detail.
