Something unfixable
She drilled this huge hole in my heart
One that can never be fixed again
She made me question what love was
Changed my whole perspective again
I would never be able to love someone
The way I loved her
Cause this hole she left is unfixable and she’s
Just another person i loved
Cause thats what my heart is made for
To love someone unlovable

“Confidence is not 'they will like me'. Confidence is 'I'll be fine if they don't'.”
― Christina Grimmie
I'm sure that this isn't the first article you've come across on confidence. Actually, this is my second piece on confidence. However, it's somewhat different. Many of you assume that being confident entails always speaking out loud and being outgoing. And yeah, I'm not lying—it's also all of those. But genuine, raw confidence radiates. It surrounds you like an aura would. It makes no difference whether you're on a virtual or physical platform. People give you importance because they have the impression that you are in charge.
The saying "Fake it until you make it" may be familiar to you. I know how frequently it is used. There is a reason, though, why so many people hold this belief. It works. Just like a charm. I sometimes experience extreme anxiety and a lack of confidence when I speak in front of audiences. However, once I'm on stage, I don my faux mask, resulting in everyone assuming that I'm confident.
Everything, and I mean everything, starts to go your way as soon as you begin loving yourself. And that's the power of loving oneself. When the universe realises your potential, it instantly sends you whatever you want. You'll become unbeatable once you begin to combat those unpleasant thoughts and eliminate all your excuses.

left me all alone
I guess I should have known
it was just us then
just like the moon and the sun
but you drifted apart
and I couldn't abstain
like an untamed hurricane
and I drowned in the rain

she's my sanctuary
with who I feel most at home
losing all my bitter thoughts
when I'm not with her, I rage
clearing my mind of all my fears
she's my love, my dear
so I'll forever make sure
she makes it to my last tear
......
Wrote this poem with my bsf in mind. @meoshhhh I'll love you forever and ever ♡

"Confidence comes not from always being right but from not fearing to be wrong."
One question I frequently come across posed online is "how to become confident" or "how to develop your confidence." It's possible that you have the same issue. The vast majority of people however, are unaware of the reasons why confident people are confident.
Surprisingly, the answer is quite straightforward. They are valuable. They are skilled. 90% of people waste their time idly browsing through YouTube or Instagram videos, or they watch TV shows and films for amusement. They seldom do anything productive; they eat mindlessly and sleep through the morning. When was the last time you engaged in a prolonged period of exercise or study?
Humans are extremely fickle creatures by nature. But those who constantly reject the urge to satisfy themselves or get a quick dopamine rush and instead attempt to master their skills are the ones who win every time. Every single time. They resist the temptation to attend a party to study for an approaching exam. You know what their one guiding principle is? It's discipline.
They maintain their productive routine with discipline and consistency. What do you do? You watch a random YouTube encouragement video, stick to your new schedule for one or two weeks, and then go back to your old habits. You simply have to prove it to yourself if you want others to believe that you are skilled, intelligent, or even confident. that you are capable of pushing yourself, stepping beyond your comfort zone, and attempting difficult tasks. Once you develop this habit, everything falls into place without any extra effort. Being a better version of yourself through consistency and discipline is the key to cultivating confidence in yourself.
We tend to stop trying simply because we believe "Oh, I didn't succeed; I'm an absolute failure; I can't accomplish anything." Humans have been developed with this mentality; Those who are capable of controlling it and get back up to try again win. Because winning is more than just receiving a material prize or certificate. It's the pleasant feeling of realizing that you've succeeded. Realizing that things simply cannot get any better than your current state is the ultimate experience. You have to realize that there isn't time to dwell in the past.
Leave your safe haven and confront the real world. I hope this article offered you a few valuable lessons you will carry with you throughout your life. You were contemplating how to build up confidence just moments ago. Now that you are aware of what to do, you can use this guidance to improve upon your current state.

I'd have drawn stars around your scars
But you proved all my fears
I'd give you all I ever had
But you didn't deserve it, not even a tad
You complained all day
And how you wanted to run away
But I was there, couldn't you see?
I could've been your escape
But you were so self absorbed
You couldn't accept my love
While you were busy scarring yourself
I was sitting there alone
Always ready to be your light
In case you ever came back
................
I randomly wrote this poem yesterday in under 10 minutes and it's probably one of my most relatable poems. I wrote it with a certain person in mind and I hope you Guys enjoy it! Also happy mothers Day! 👩🏽

The soft pitter-patter of the rain awoke Lilith from her deep slumber. Shuffling around, she tried to go back to sleep, but failed. The soft sound of the rain was steadily turning into loud sounds of water showering over the green meadow outside. Lilith pulled off the cosy blanket from her body and sat up in her bed. She pulled on a green sweater that she had placed under her pillow last and pushed her body back to comfortably lean on the bed frame. Pulling her blanket back on her body, she looked at the clock. It was 5:42 am. They were expected to wake up before 8 but Lilith could never sleep longer than 6:00 am. Instead she would read in this free time. Her hands followed up to the bedside table and she grabbed her reading glasses and a book. She flipped to the page she had bookmarked the last time she read it. Page 42. Her mind slowly got absorbed into the story. It was as if the outside world did not exist at all. The sound of the rain blended in with each word she took in. It was very therapeutic indeed. She couldn’t feel anything other than the emotions the book portrayed. Her eyes were glued to book until a loud knock broke her out of her reverie. She looked up and watched the figure of aunt Candice enter the room.
“You’re awake, Lilith?” Aunt Candice said as if she was surprised. She was not oblivious to the fact that Lilith would wake up early.
Lilith gave a small nod and held a slightly annoyed expression on her face. No one would like getting interrupted from reading their favourite book. Aunt Candice took the hint and hurriedly spoke.
“I’m just going to take the laundry.”
Lilith’s face softened when she saw the nervous expression but aunt Candice was already out of the door with the basket of laundry in her strong arms.
Lilith fell back into her fantasy world of blooming flowers, bright weather and happy people.

when you know no more
when you're tired and so worn
when you gobble up all your fears
that is when her flower blooms
feeling spring in cold winter
feeling warm in a cold dark lair
opening up to being tamed and
she swore she would stay
but winter has her in his grasp
with him you spend
all your love and your share
and you leave me with just
an other worldly reverence
.......
one of my favourite poems I have ever written. this could be interpreted as a message from goddess demeter to persephone. winter represents hades aka God of the underworld. spring represents persephone. this could also be taken as a Sapphic relationship breaking or simply seasonal depression. I hope you like it! 🌾🌸🍇

Have you ever realised?
That I have dreams too
That I deserve to fly too
Or are you so selfish
You don’t care about anything other than your desires
............
A little poem I wrote to vent out my frustration over the voices in my head. Sometimes it's really you yourself who's your biggest enemy. And I'm learning to heal that.

She believed
In all things they didn’t
She saw the unseen
But couldn’t prove them
She knew enough
They did exist
She saw the unseen
She wasn’t believed
She lost her faith
Day by day
Until there wasn’t
Anymore left
She used to be the girl who believed
But they didn’t try to believe
She was the girl who believed
Now she lost her faith
....................
I wrote this poem long ago and I mainly wrote it with Luna Lovegood in mind. She's one of my favorite characters and her genuine curiosity and positivity inspired me to base this on her. 🌸
