“ugh, i never imagined the day i would have my very own spawn of satan.” grumbled fyodor as he watched his kid run around excitedly despite it being 1am.

“you know fyodor, you are also an evident spawn of satan too.” you retorted glancing at him smugly while he rolled his eyes taking your cup of tea from your hands and drinking it while making sure nothing breaks before him.

you intertwined fingers with him which earned you a satisfied hum from his lips and a gentle squeeze on your hand; just as you both were starting to relax despite the noise, your dear child came to you.

“mommy, daddy, look at what I made!” he/she happy exclaimed while they were hiding one thing behind their back with a big smile shining brighter than the sun. fyodor raised an eyebrow in curiosity as he leaned forward.

“so what is it, dear?” he said with a small smile present on his face, but the anticipation in his head is far more bigger; he loved everything and anything your child made, be it something silly or not, big or not, he loved it nonetheless.

and so your child lively revealed her/his surprise, a drawing. a drawing of you, your husband and her/him; fyodor looked rather astonished by the drawing and gently took it in his hands. while doing so your child had jumped onto your lap and hugged you tightly.

“mommy do you like it?” she/he asked with hopeful look almost like he/she was trying to guilt trip you; you nodded softly ruffling their hair and starting to tell them how much you liked it while they hugged you tighter and giving you a kiss on the cheek.

when you move your gaze from you lovely child they land on the form of your husband putting the drawing of your child in a frame and hanging it proudly. his half-lidded eyes were filled with adoration and love then he glanced at you.

“hey, look what daddy did to your drawing!” you said to draw the attention to your lover instead to which she/he slowly turned her/his head to him then a sparkle went through their eyes as she/he run towards fyodor happily.

“daddy, daddy! do you really like it?!” asked your child with a big smile plastered on her/his face while fyodor smiled a small smile petting their head and muttering a soft “yeah..” despite all of this he couldn’t believe that’s real.

you approached him gently and cupped his face and kissed his cheek; “we are here with you.” so you placed his hand on your chest and smiled, his eyes widened slightly while this moment was accompanied by the laughter of your child in the background.

The sun rays stretched through the thin fabric of the curtains that lightly shaded over the window. Your sweet partner snoozed in bed beside you looking like the precious angel he is. The fiery locks of ginger hair reminded you he was more than a gentle lover. When need be, he was your protector that would sacrifice anything and everything for your safety.

You reached out to play with his soft strands of hair and he let out a soft mumble you couldn't quite understand. Nonetheless it made you smile seeing him so at peace next to you. Temptation knocked at the door and you happily answered as you leaned in to place a soft kiss on his cheek. That only made you want more naturally and you did so by trailing kisses along his neck to his exposed shoulder.

Seeing the way your hair fell just right as you laid on top of his chest. The way your eyes were lit up by just the sight of him made his heart flutter. There were no words to him to describe how amazingly breathtaking you are to him. But he knew how to talk without saying much. With that, he pulled you into a feather like kiss barely meeting lips and making you want more.

"Good morning, my Songbird."

He referred to you as his songbird from the way you always awoke before him. It never failed you to be in a chipper mood and the way you sang would send shivers along his spine. Just the way you knew exactly where to massage to relieve his tension from daily missions. You were more than the light at the end of the tunnel. To him, you are his entire world and everyone else could burn to ashes as long as you lived to smile another day.

The way your lips would make the cutest duck pout face made him melt. It was definite overkill on your part but it always got your way so you didn't care.
