I have added Time Warp by Downplay to the Past Life playlist!

Ok, back for real this time. Kicking the new playlist off with a pick of my own, this was the first song that came to mind when I heard of the gimmick for this life series. (Well, it was actually Past Self by Sleep Token, but that song doesn’t really fit at all.)

Lyrics I think are good are “This is the first time, back to where I was”, “A memory like fire”, and the whole chorus is good too. “Whenever I see this place, it takes me there again” “I’m so sure, soon enough it’s gonna be calling me back again.”

A bit of a meta reason why I think this one fits, is that it’s from Downplay’s Saturday album, their very first. Downplay is Starset’s Dustin Bates’ old band, and therefore Saturday marks the very beginning of his career. Episode 1 of Past Life brings us close to the beginning of Minecraft.

Obsolete Meat by 32ki fits watcher 1 and 2 so much . I'd love to do an animation or drawing of them and the music video sometime where the meals on the plates are instead the players

Most fitting line to me. About how they don't care about the players health in doing these death games and even when now being pushed back against it by grian joining a "ruining" their meal, they still continue to do the same thing
