Anyone who is surprised or shocked that Dumptruck won really needs to get outside their circle and talk to the other half of the country.
It's a bummer, but not surprising.

This seems like bullshit. I don't think anyone who supports Trump with a sign in his yard at this point in history is abandoning the crybaby bitch for anything.
If this man lost a wife to Covid and supported Donald Dumptruck anyway, he has rationalized how the Covid deaths were not Dumptruck's fault, and would most likely continue to do so.
Why do people feel the need to spread bullshit stories like this?
Walking away from Trump is healthy.

Donald Trump is a whiny, crybaby bitch.
Also a rapist, a thief, a conman, a liar, a cheat, and just generally a shitstain on America and the world at large.
Thank you. This has been a public service announcement. You may now return to your regularly scheduled program.
TL;DR: Donald Trump is a crybaby bitch.

Trump haters:
Trump defended his staff who physically assaulted a woman doing her job attempting to enforce federal law at Arlington (they also called her mentally ill). He is a disgrace.
Also, you know, he commits fraud, brags about and was found liable for sexually assaulting a woman, is a thief, a liar, and just an all-around piece of shit of a human. Breaking federal law by using the graves of dead service members for political ads, and allowing the assault of a woman doing her job, is like the 19th most horrible thing he has said and done this year.
Harris haters:
Kamala worked at McDonald's and didn't put it on her resume. She is a disgrace.
Also, she isn't really black or something.

This is false. Musk is a hypocrite and a cringe lord, but this is a satirical post. De Niro apparently doesn't even use social media.
Feel free to list all the other times Musk the "free speech absolutist" has censored, though. From banning accounts at the request of governments where SpaceX has facilities to declaring the term "cis" to be banned hate speech.

You don't think anyone will see the wisdom of voting for the candidate who will kill less people?
Do people really say:
"Sure, if I vote Dem 50,000 will die in Palestine, and if I vote Rep then 500,000 will die, but I'm going to stick to my principles and not vote for the dog shit murderers. Those extra 450,000 dead (and all the other bad shit that will happen to marginalized people) aren't on me because I refused to participate in the system."
A convincing ringing endorsement

She is supporting the bipartisan compromise immigration plan that both Republicans and Democrats in Congress were going to accept, until Trump told Republicans not to because he didn't want Biden and the Dems to get credit for it.
Harris has not explicitly endorsed the wall. She has endorsed the compromise bill that includes the wall.
Do you see the difference? One candidate (Harris) is willing to work with others to get the job done. The other candidate (Trump) is willing to burn down the world if he isn't the one getting credit.

I mean, Trump tried to cheat this way. Some of his supporters just assume that everyone else would try to cheat to their advantage as well.
Once a cheater, always a cheater...

In fact, the only time anyone has suggested that the VP cheat this way (choosing what electoral votes to accept) was when Trump pressured Pence to do it.
So... are you going to be voting for the one person in authority in the history of the country who tried to do what you are afraid of?
Once a cheater, always a cheater...

To be fair, for the longest time in America, "Asian" meant southeast Asian. Now it is generally accepted that Indians from the subcontinent are considered Asian as well.
It's a change in terminology. Don't unnecessarily mock those behind the times. Maybe try educating instead.

If anyone has followed me for any amount of time, then it is known that I am constantly telling people to fact check, or as I am more likely to say, "check your shit."
One thing I have to make clear, though, is that you cannot just rely on fact-checking organizations. Sometimes you have to fact check the fact checkers.
Anyone remember Josh Mandel?
He was a Republican running for Senate (again) in 2022 when this image popped up on a campaign video:
It's blurry and low resolution, but many people thought it looked like his face was photoshopped onto a black service member.
If you search today, all the fact checking websites say that claim is false. They actually say it is unproven, and therefore rated false.
But, if you did deeper you find more inconsistencies. Mandel's campaign said a darkening filter was used on the original image which somehow explains the dark hands but no darkening of his face, and they provided a digital image of the original printed picture:
Natalie Allison, a reporter at Politico who reported on the story, shared this picture and the campaign's dark filter explanation.
And she was kind of defensive about it.
But, look at that "original" image. Specifically the boots and the name tags (and we'll ignore Mandel's ridiculously small cover).
Here are the boots in question:
Notice how the boots of the men in back somehow ended up in front of the picture? Almost like it wasn't layered right in Photoshop.
As for the name tags, it is expressed best by this tweet:
If you blow up the image you can see the blurs where names should be.
So obviously the image was altered in various ways. Whether or not Mandela was himself added to the picture isn't clear, but tampering did take place.
But none of the fact-checking sites I looked at mentioned these alterations. Which is shoddy-ass fact checking.
Maybe they thought it didn't matter? Like Natalie Allison said, "Is the argument that you think he didn't actually serve with Marines who were black? It really doesn't make a lot of sense."
No, Ms. Allison. Whether or not he served with black Marines is not the point. The question that deserved to be followed up on is why he was using an altered picture in his campaign ad.
Altered = not the truth.
This reporter and the various fact checkers were negligent in following up on these inconsistancies, because, at least in Ms. Allison's opinion, it just didn't matter.
Which is ironic considering the header of Allison's Twitter profile.
"Falsehood flies, and truth comes limping after it."
Words she should consider a little more closely.
