I love this scene because we always talk about how cool it is when sentai heroes wear their suits without the helmets but I don’t think we ever seriously talked about how it would look if sentai heroes ever wore the helmets without the suits.

And I come back to my point about boonboomger bringing back things like 20 episodes later that you didn’t think are important.
With this past episode we found out what happens when someone drives a boonboomcar without a suit.
This was kind of hinted in like episode 9 or 10 that driving a boonboom car even with a suit takes a big toll on your body. And now we are seeing what happens when you drive one without a suit completely.
I LOVE THE ATTENTION TO DETAIL IN THIS SHOW.
#bakuage sentai boonboomger#boonboomger#super sentai#boonboomger ramblings#I love shirabe#someone give this girl a changer#I know it’s small but they pay such good attention to details in this show

One thing I love about boonboomger is the small pieces of information they throw out there that you don’t think are important, until like 20 episodes later it emerges again as a significant plot point.
One of the most significant ones was when Genba officially joined the team, he said that he had something important to do and then like 20 episodes later it was revealed he was out to get revenge on those who stole his home from him.
Another was in last weeks episode where it was revealed that Taiya’s childhood neighbour was a victim of abuse and he often times heard screaming coming from the house next door. He always said how whenever he hears screams he always comes running, which I always thought was just a catch phrase until this episode.
Also where Ishiro at some point just casually mentions that the ISA hire him from time to time and then in episode 29 it gets revealed that he was hired to investigate boondorios appearance on earth.
These are probably the three biggest instances that I’ve personally noticed, but I’m sure there are more.
What I love about it is that it makes it feel like although there are filler episodes in boonboomger they always feel like they are contributing to the story in some way. I think this is also supported by the fact that there are more enemies in the ISA and Taiyas mentor than just simply the Hashirians.

Oh wow thank you for this answer I really enjoyed reading it!!
They’re all really good points - I’ll admit I didn’t think about the fact that since they’re spies they have a lot of (un)written rules regarding secrecy. I also didn’t understand the part about the eavesdropping devices i didn’t realise it was Ishiro who planted them on her.
But it also makes sense that this mission wasn’t personal at all as even in the comic it’s established that Ishiro is someone who worked alone until he met Taiya which is why they worked on missions both together and against each other. They had no loyalties to each other.
But I do love the bit that they posted on the episode blog about her feeling empathy towards the fact that Ishiro has found trust in his new teammates. The way I see it is that at first she mocks him that he got careless but at the end she feels envious that Ishiro CAN be careless because he’s surrounded by people he trusts.
Overall and for multiple reasons this is defo one of my favourite Boonboomger episodes
⚠️warning: spoilers for boonboomger 37⚠️
I’m wondering about the spy lady’s intentions.
Like ok the ISA hired her to find a way to infiltrate into the boonboomgers to get info but I’m confused by her behaviour in the end.
When Chashiro chains her and leaves her in the warehouse she tells him smth along the lines of “they’re dangerous”. Why does she tell him this?
Then when they defeat the bad guy, she’s seen looking at the boonboomger robo and solemnly says “Ishiro”.
Then in the end she purposely leaves the eavesdropping devices for Chashiro to find.
And then what’s up with the whole line of “you’re still of some use”?? Why was in repeated in the end?
I just don’t get it, was she out to get revenge on Ishiro? Or was she just paid an amount so high h that she just couldn’t help but to betray her old partner.
Like I feel like she was kind of on their side??? But idk it doesn’t make sense to me
Is there something I missed??
If anyone could help me out here that would be super nice!!!

I think there’s something cooking with Sakito 🫨
I genuinely feel like he’s hiding something or there’s something off about him. I say this mainly because of his appearance at the end of episode 31. Why was he in the warehouse where Genba went to fight Disrace? Why did it look like he was up to something 🤔
I have theory that popped up in my head - maybe I am totally off - what if sakito is disrace hiding in human form?
HAHAHAHA THATS JUST SOMETHING THAT POPPED UP IN MY HEAD
anyways I absolutely love Sakito and the rest of the boonboomgers and I can’t wait to see how the story evolves

I’m enjoying boonboomger so much!!
I was a little worried at first because it follows the typical sentai formula and especially after watching donbrothers and kingohger I was worried that I wouldnt enjoy it. BUT BOY WAS I WRONG.
I absolutely love the characters and the story is actually really engaging!!
But by god the puns in the names are terrible 🤣 like I totally understand what they were going for but I can’t help but facepalm everytime I hear their names ahahaha

all the parts in season 3 where the kids are sneaking out into like mental hospitals or secret creepy rooms with men in tanks in and the people who don’t know accuse them of sneaking out to parties and discos in town are so depressing because like!!! I wish they were!!! they’re 17/18 they should be sneaking out to cool house parties and clubs !!! :(
#THIS#like i get the premise of the show#but like i really wish that anubis was a show for an older audience#bc i would love to see them do more teenage-esque things like go to parties

It’s important to recognise that Barbie (2023) criticises both the patriarchy AND the matriarchy. Yes, the Ken’s are just accessories to the Barbies. Yes, they don’t have any say in the government they live under. That’s the point, you’re supposed to feel awful, you’re supposed to want the Kens to have their own agency, you’re supposed to want equality. The Barbie movie explicitly states that the way Barbie treats Ken is wrong, so much so that once he finds a safe space for his masculinity and individual identity he’s so excited to share it with the other Kens.
But they go overboard and replace a matriarchy with a patriarchy and now the same issue exists but in reverse. That’s the POINT!! THATS THE POINT!!! Barbie is not anti-men it’s pro equality PLEASE understand this
